Kinderfeets Boules Wooden Set

This is a well made and very nicely packaged bocce ball set, perfect for little hands that would make an excellent addition to any backyard offering of classic games. It is made of solid wood and is stored in a beautiful wooden crate. The fit and finish are top notch with a premium feel that are hard to find in most toys these days. Very impressive. Highly recommend.

This is my first product from KinderFeets. This “Boules” set, or as I know it Bocce ball is made specifically for children and designed smaller than typical to accommodate their smaller size.This will be great for me as well because I am petite under 5 ft and have small hands for an adult. My youngest was excited when I took them out and immediately began playing with them and enjoyed organizing them by color in the crate lol. He is 7 yrs old and handled them easily.The set arrives packaged in a simple recyclable cardboard box with no additional plastic wrap or padding. Given the sustainable approach to their products I am not surprised and it is appreciated that there is no waste with their packaging.The Bocce ball set is nestled in a real wood crate made from New Zealand Pine and it looks high end and will be great for storing the set in. They have their logo wood burned into the side - looks very well done and fancy. I always appreciate when attractive sustainable storage is provided for a product like this.The Bocce balls themselves are impressively high quality and it is evident when you look at the finish of the balls and handle the weight of them. The product listing states they are made from sustainably sourced beechwood and it definitely looks like beechwood.They are sanded and polished with no rough spots and are solid wood. They are painted perfectly and I love the softer color scheme as opposed to the typical primary bold colors often used in sports sets.These are the kind of Montessori toys I love for my kids. I looked at the other product offering from this brand and I can honestly say I want them all! I may order the balance board in the future.Overall this is a really excellent set made with sustainable materials and reduced waste recyclable packaging.. the price point may seem high to some but for anyone who invests in real wooden toys and products for their kids this is a reasonable price for sustainable wood and excellent craftsmanship.I would buy again and highly recommend this set to anyone who wants to invest in toys made with natural materials that foster an active lifestyle and creative mindset in children from an eco-conscious company. The first thing I noticed was that the wooden container for the set is just a tray - there's no lid for it. It's a nice enough tray with hand holds cut out of the end, and made of pine. I'd like a lid is all.The balls appear to be made of white oak (very nice) and are polished. They are individually discernable, with two of each color. One has two disks of color and the other just one. Not having played a lot, I don't know if they are the right weight or not, but they were fun to try out.

I really like that these wood balls are toddler/child hand friendly as they aren't too big to handle. The balls also arent heavy at all, so its easy for kids to maneuever and play with. They are also very smooth, the paint marker makes it easy for each child to identify which ball is theirs. I like that this set is great quality at an affordable price.
