Good but needs instructions.
As bolt cutters they work fine - once you understand how to use them. Now that may seem self-explanatory but it isn't, because no instructions are provided, which is why I dropped them a star for ease of use.The cutters do come factory set for use, but in my case I had to adjust the screw to set the maximum gap between the blades (done by trial and error).One thing to be aware of is NOT TO REMOVE THE SCREWS CLAMPING THE BLADES TOGETHER ! Apologies for shouting but at first glance it looks obvious that they need removing but they are what set the cutter as a glorified pair of scissors - remove them and the cutter will not work.The pivot points are well lubricated but it is worth opening and closing them several times just to 'bed them in'. I added a dab of grease to them just to make things a little smoother.If you're unsure there are plenty of how-to's online, but it would have been nice to be able to read them on the product itself.

Works but for very light jobs
Tried to cut a Allen key for a test and now I have bent teeth... I thought its supposed to be able to cut through locks....bit disappointed.

I bought these to cut off a padlock on a gate where the key had gone missing, and they did that with ease.

Nice and easy to use, bought to take down some old fencing and these did the trick.They could of done with being slightly longer but they cut with ease..Great price and a handy bit of kit to keep in the shed or toolbox for those just in case moments..

helped get the padlock off my bike when I forgot what I'd set the lock to but I had to apply a lot of weight to the bolt cutters to get them to cut through the lock so I wouldn't say they are easy to use and they could have performed better so no 100% value for money.

Heavy duty piece of tooling that does the job.
They arrived on time,the item is displayed as says in description and went through a 6mm bolt as if it were nothing.brilliant tool to have.since cutting I have put some 3in1 around moving parts just so it doesn't sieze.

Poor product
These aren’t the best. Yes these are cheap but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.I’ve only been using these for cutting cable basket & they haven’t even lasted one job before they snapped (as per the picture)There is no way these would be capable of cutting any type of bolt & they’ve lasted for about 30 cuts of 4mm basket.If your looking at purchasing these I’d advise against it & go for some that are better quality.
