Old Gas strut lifts getting replaced.
I replace the lifts with the same capacity as the originals on my 1997 Beaver Montery basement doors and my engine door over my bed. These were easy to replace and they are working great again.

Worked well for boat engine hatch
@nd time replacing shocks for boat engine hatch . Finally found a pair that supported the hatch. Would have liked some instructions on how to size/ determine what weight to buy. Had to move the set endpoint twice but they worked!

this is the way to go for compartment door struts on an RV. Cheap and easy to install. This is a must-have for older R.V. doors.

where are the instructions?
some type of instructions would help. I can figure out how to release them without that being the only instructions provided. IF YOU DROP THEM THEY FALL APART. ONCE INSTALLED THEY DON'T COMPRESS! THEY ARE GRABAGE!
