Autoject 2 Fixed Needle Device Review: Miracle Device - I cannot stand needles, injections, blood, or generally anything medical. This device is an absolute god send that works so well and makes me not have to fear injections. It works exactly as described and makes injections smooth and painless. Some tips that it took me a while to figure out: 1. The instructions list "compatible syringes" along with recommended dialing for those syringes. This device is compatible with any fix-tipped syringe and can be dialed in using the yellow plastic tool. Insert a syringe and launch it, then use the yellow tool to measure how far out of the end it sticks. 2. If you're buying this, you probably also have a fear of needles. I went for a 31 gauge needle but was worried about how long the injection would take with this small of a gauge. <10 seconds overall, and I truly barely felt it (and I'm a MASSIVE baby when it comes to all of this. Cannot recommend this product enough. Review: Perfect for Pets - This was a lifesaver for my small dog with thin skin diagnosed with diabetes. For the first month, she would let me manually inject her, but after a month, I could not get her to stay still; it was a huge fight. This auto-injector is fast, painless, and very easy to use; just pinch the skin and press the button. You do need to have a bit longer needle. I used a 12.7mm length. For pets, I highly recommend, just get it!

Makes a huge difference!
I’m needle-phobic and now taking weekly injections. I cannot bring myself to just shove a needle into myself. This product has made it so much easier! Easy to recalibrate to different brands of needles. Highly recommended!

Easy to use and was great for needle anxiety.

I'll never take another shot without this!
I take a weekly shot and after 5 mths I began to dread the process. I have a weak thumb on my shot hand, so I always seem to struggle depressing the plunger. I finally made the purchase and then found some youtube videos and did my setup. I used an empty syringe and played with it to get used to the sound and speed of injection by using tap water in the syringe and holding it over the sink. I was pleasantly surprised after my first shot and now look forward to shot day. For those that don't like to see the needle, this is great. However the needle does NOT retract, so you will see it AFTER the injection. Worth the money and HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
