Short Expiry Date
Very disappointed at the short expiry date, it is November 2018, for four boxes that is a lot of strips (200) there is only 130 days left to the end of November

Shelf-life comments....
The shelf-life isn't ideal, however:- glucose strips, as a whole, are not cheap. So buying this multi-pack with a reduced cost, but with a slight risk of accuracy/precision degradation, is something that needs to be considered.- type 1's and insulin injecting type 2's (they would get this on prescription in the UK anyway, so wouldn't be buying them from Amazon) should get through this amount by the time the product expires- type 2's that only test once a day (thus wont be able to use all of the test strips before expiry), typically aren't at serious risk of hypos/hypers, clearly by the fact that they are buying these test strips( and not getting them on prescription if in the UK). So if the accuracy/precision is slightly off then that shouldn't be a problem. The question I ask is "Would I be concerned if the reading was 7.5 mmol/L rather than the "true" reading of 7.1 mmol/L ?, or if the reading was 10.0 mmol/L instead of the "true" value of 10.6 mmol/L ?.- For those of you that are interested in buying these strips near the end of the product shelf-life, keep 3 strips from your "in date" batch until they out of date by a year. In a years time, test your blood with strips that are "in date". Then , immediately, test your blood with the out of date strips. Do the readings differ by an amount that is acceptable to you? Bear in mind that if you test you blood several times with in-date strips, the results often vary by 0.3 (or so) mmol/L anyway.- I'm a PhD scientist. However, dont take these comments as advice, always consult your Physician/GP.

Short shelf life
short shelf life - only 4 months. Bare this in mind if like me, you are only using once a day.
