Mr. Black Tunnel Worm lets you get the sound of actual tape flanging with an effected signal that goes in and out of phase on both sides of the zero point your original guitar signal represents. The Width control knob lets you determine how far out of phase the effect signal goes while the Zero control lets you place your original signals zero point wherever you think it sounds best and the Rate control determines how fast the two signals cycle in relation to one another.
