Cloverleaf Blanket Answer, 200 g

Even though I knew this was going to happen I must say when I first put the product into the pond and it went cloudy white I was a little apprehensive. After just a few days the cloudy water had gone and I could see that the blanket weed was already changing colour. After a week the blanket weed had completely gone. After ten days the water is clearer than it’s been for months, and I can even see the gravel on the bottom of the pond. The fish are much more active now the blanket weed is gone and I can enjoy seeing better them even when they swim to the bottom. This product is amazing after just one application. I imagine I’ve got enough left to keep it clear for the next year.

Expensive but good value because it actually works. Not a dramatic instant result but give it time and you realise that the blanket weed is in recession. It seems to then keep it under control for some considerable time without constantly repeating the treatment. Best to remove as much blanket weed as possible first and don’t let it regrow in quantity before re applying

I have been using this product for about a month in my small goldfish pond which has a mixture of plants and has been plagued by blanket week for the past few years, as soon as summer arrives and the temperature rises it multiplies like mad choking the pond and the pump.I've tried numerous other "solutions" over this time - Viresco, barley straw extract, Pond Balance, Phos-Kit to name a few but none of these made the slightest difference to the weed which I had to remove by hand every week to allow the fish to move aroud !When I first applied Blanket Answer the pond went a bit murky as the product is a milky colour when mixed with water and applied. However after a few days I noticed the pond was much clearer than it had been for ages. After a week the blanket weed was still in evidence but it had not grown at all as previously. After 2 weeks I applied a second dose and the blanket weed has slowly reduced since, some had sunk to the bottom and I scooped it out. I now feel confident that the problem is well under control. Best of all the other plant life has been unaffected, in fact the lillies seem to be thriving and the fish are very happy.UPDATE AFTER 3 MONTHS.The blanket weed has all but vanished. When left untreated for a months or so it does start to slowly return again but all that is needed is a small "maintenance" dose to knock it out again. The other pond plants thrive on this product and have never looked better, the water is crystal clear and the fish very healthy. I'm not easily impressed but this stuff is worth it's weight in gold ! when I think back to the mess and maintenance I had to carry out before - highly recommended.

I have a tiny pond in an old ceramic butler's sink, but brought in blanket weed on some pond plants and it was taking over. I was on the verge of scrapping the whole thing when I saw this and thought I might as well give a try. I bought the smallest size and calculated the tiny amount I needed, but I sprinkled it in and waited. Nothing happened for a few days and I thought maybe my calculations were wrong or, as usual, I'd wasted my money, but then I noticed the blanket weed was changing colour. A little over a week later it had completely disintegrated. I had to flush out the pond because I only have a tiny pump, but the blanket weed was gone and I have a clear pond again. It's not cheap, and I had to buy more than I will ever need for this little pond, but it works brilliantly so was worth every penny and if I ever need it again I still have plenty.

The product is good and it works but this particular purchase was extremely expensive it is available from the manufacturer at a much better price sorry I didn’t look further at the time of ordering.

Sorted out the blanket weed.

ma petite mare de 1.5m3 a de l'eau limpide mais elle est pleine d' algues alors j'ai tester avec des bandelettes mais aucun problèmes (azote nitrate ou autre) juste en plein soleil . 3 semaines après traitement ben y' en a toujours beaucoup d'algues . mais c'est en net diminution et je pense ce traitement sur le long terme et surtout elle se détache de plus en plus facilement en faite la seule vrai corvée c'est le nettoyage du filtre qui ce colmate rapidement avec les débris d'algues (ce qui prouve l'efficacité du produit).le dosage du produit c'est 10gr pour 125 litre donc c'est facile a doser pour les petits volume. l'eau se trouble sur 12 ou 24h puis retour a la normale . aucun problème avec mes poissons escargots grenouille ou les oiseaux et malgré leur gamelle respective mon chien et chat boivent dedans aussi ils aiment l'eau courante de la cascade . et les plantes sont en pleine forme .

Tenía alga filamentosa, y usé el producto tal como se indica durante un par de meses y sin éxito.Decidí vaciar todo el estanque y poner agua nueva, ahora no tengo alga filamentosa pero el agua se ha puesto verde con el verano y el producto no hace nada nada, lo llevo usando meses y no sirve para nada el agua cada vez más verde. Y tengo una bomba de estanque con potencia suficiente, pero al estanque le da el sol todo el día y el producto no sirve para nada y es carísimo.
