Q: Does this product work with a platform bed instead of a box spring? The mattress currently rests on planks, not a flat surface.

My bed is the same. I just adjusted the mattress helper to a slight angle so that it would rest on the crossbars, set the mattress right back down, and no issue. I'm not saying it's perfect, but it can be done, and it seems that the mattress helper is doing it's job.

Q: My select comfort bed sags in the middle. Will this help?

I think it will definitely help. I have a California king that has an awful sag in the middle. These pads (had to order two because of the size of the mattress) make a really noticeable difference. My boyfriend helps me readjust the pads because they do end up shifting some. But without these pads, I wake up every day with terrible back pains. These really are a life saver because I can't afford a new mattress for awhile. Highly recommend. Oh and they also have mini pads to fill in any gaps you might have when you have a larger mattress like a king and California King. I also recommend pushing the pad(s) to the center of the bed for the best support. So my pads butt up against each other in the center of the bead, making sure they extend completely underneath the end you lay your head down in to sleep. This provides the most support from what I've experienced. I highly recommend the pads. They help me so much! Best purchase I've made in a long time.

Q: Will it still work if I cut it to fit my couch? I need support for my sagging couch and couch support that's in the market were all rated "poor".

In theory it should work the same as it would for a bed. Most of these are marketed as being made for the bed or the couch.. So it should work.

Q: Does it work on memory foam? I have a queen size that sleeps two people. One person is heavier and only that side is sagging, do I need to get two?

Thank you for your question. For a memory foam mattress I would suggest that you start off with 1 to see how you like it. 2 are suggested as you may notice that it will make the bed uneven without 2. If you find that you need extra length you could always purchase the Mattress Helper Mini also sold on Amazon. We have many customers who have used Mattress Helper before on memory foam mattresses and it has worked very well for them.
