I bought these for my proper brand pants. I had the old button that was sewn on pop off 3 times. i used the metal jean button to replace the old sewed on button. i did use a small amount of super glue on the screw after i pushed it through the fabric and then threaded it onto the metal button. been working great so far.

Have lost some weight over the last few years, largely intentional. These are not difficult at all to place, if you use a pair of 'logger jeans' for a template (for the buttons). You can even order pants one size larger, and not worry about a little extra room for your winter shirts. They work on dress pants, too, 'it's the look'. I usually put a dab of super glue on the threads, and where they pass thru the material. Sturdier.

Useful for what I need

This product made it very easy to replace a jeans button. It came in a clear box for easy storage, this will now be a go to in my sewing kit.

The button of my jeans popped off a year ago and I've been meaning to buy a new one at a craft store. I was able to order these and I love it. I love that it comes in a box so that it's easy to store. I do like that the way to secure the button it by screwing it together. It's a little tricky to screw in and also hold the button together, but it's doable. Having to screw the button let's my mind rest that it's not going to pop off again because I made it as tight as possible.

Do not buy these if you want to have a working solution. The screws barely penetrate the jeans I was using them for. Too, the third time I unbuttoned the jeans, the button came right off. Maybe they would work for a decoration, but not at all useful for clothing to be worn on a normal basis.
