Premax Nail Clippers

There is no doubt these are "premium" nail clippers. Larger than the drugstore variety, nicely finished stainless steel, effortless cutting (sharp, better leverage due to larger size and overall design) and generally cool looking. I would have said they are definitely for a guy's hand but my wife, who has small hands, got a hold of them and she loves them! I've never had a premium nail clipper before but my wife has and she compares these with the best of them so I'm taking that into account. For myself, time will tell. One thing to note, the clipper I received does not look exactly like the photo that is posted. Mine does not have what appears to be some sort of locking mechanism on the tail end of the clipper. No big deal, the clipper stays closed with a magnet but it is still kind of irritating that I "didn't get what I paid for". Oh well, another case of "bait and switch" on Amazon. I'm not blaming Amazon, they post what they're provided but it would have been 5 stars if the photo actually represented what I got.

I like the design in concept, but in execution its rough. The cut is not clean like some other clippers (they leave a slight but snaggy burr at the end of all but the thickest of nails requiring file touch-ups), and I dont get the sence that it is the "boker" quality i am used to from the knives.The nifty blue ring is not a bering - its just a trim object.The spring is a cool idea but the edge is not dressed at all and takes a long time of use to grind itself smoothIt does store very flat, and with a little more engineering / detail work, it could be great, but based on the unit I received, I simply can't recomend it.

This nail clipper is one of the most formidable clippers I've ever seen! It is VERY sharp and will clip just about anything placed between its jaws. It is so formidable that my wife refuses to use it for fear of clipping something that doesn't need clipping! I like it and recommend it to serious buyers, but be aware that it "means business"!!!

Look on Amazon and find the smaller size of the same thing. The smaller one is better, even for toenails.These are huge! Way too big for clipping finger nails. Might be ok for toenails. Otherwise, very nice workmanship and materials. Pretty well designed as well, except for the HUGE SIZE! Attached photo compares to generic drug store clippers.

These are simply the best made, finely-finished nail clippers I've found. They are sharp and do not require a great deal of pressure to cut nails. They do not fragment or split the nails.

Great for toenails. Opens plenty wide, very sharp, cuts smoothly, accurately and safely. Contrary to what some reviewers noticed, I found the leverage spring stays out of the way in use. Just flip it forward. It only hits the magnet in the rear when fully opened and flipped back for flat storage. I've tried a number of cutting tools including pliers-type nippers and found them unwieldy and unsafe. This one is great. Also appears well made and durable.

Cut even the toughest old nasty toenails you can imagine with easy. Get hung closed at times when cutting smaller nails. They are very sharp. I'm f you have nasty old man/ woman yellow nails these are what you need

I had been searching for a good toenail clippers since my old pair got dull. I had purchased 3 new sets from popular brands but all were flimsy and generally cheaply made. The design of these clippers is quite unorthodox but because I am fond of Boker knives and tactical pens I took a chance on these clippers. I am very pleased with these nail clippers. They are the best clippers I have ever used.

Pretty big. Still work for the fingers but they are definitely for a large man.

Broke in less than year with regular use. Good design ....Cheaply made
