These tablets have been a fantastic upgrade from the older ones we had. It was definitely time for a replacement, and we're really happy with them. The graphics are crisp, the battery life lasts a long time, and they recharge fairly quickly, which is a huge plus with kids. My boys are obsessed with them, and I also love the built-in stand because it makes them much easier to use for watching videos, playing games, or traveling. The only small drawback—and it's really just a minor preference—is that the back of the case has a textured geometric design. Since both of my boys have the same color tablet, they like to decorate them with stickers so they can easily tell them apart. The textured pattern doesn't allow most stickers to stick well, so we were only able to place one sticker on the smooth area of the stand. That doesn't affect the tablet's performance at all, and it certainly wasn't enough to take away a star. Overall, these have been an excellent purchase, and I'd definitely recommend them to other families with kids.

The Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Tablet has been a wonderful tool for my 2-year-old neurodivergent toddler. I mainly got this specifically during moments when I need to keep her occupied, like styling her hair or transitioning between activities she prefers less. It’s engaging, easy to navigate, and filled with age-appropriate content that keeps her entertained without overstimulation. I like that the parental control is customizable like our other well-known brand tablet. I can limit what she has access to, adjust screen time, and still ensure she has plenty of fun and educational apps to enjoy. The Amazon Kids+ library is excellent, with a great mix of games, books, and videos designed for learning through play. The tablet’s bright HD screen, sturdy build , and kid-proof case make it perfect for my toddler's little hands. I tested the battery life, and it actually lasts from several hours to a day. The only downside is the 32 GB of storage because it fills up quickly, and when it does, the tablet starts to lag a bit, so I occasionally need to delete unused apps.

Amazon kids tablets are an absolute parenting essential! Tired of not being able to take your kids in public without tantrums? Do long car rides leave you promising yourself that you never take a family vacation ever again? This is the device for you!! This device is the only one for kids that meets fun with an excellent parental control software especially for younger children. Parental controls for any other device that a child might use are a nightmare to try to configure, not always effective, and often require a hefty subscription cost. The kids fire tablet does this all in one. I really hope that Amazon keeps making their kids tablets better and better to meet the needs of modern day parents and kids. One thing I would love though is if Amazon could improve the memory capacity on the tablet without having to buy an additional memory card. I would also really like it if Amazon could improve the sound controls and make Amazon Kids compatible with bluetooth headphones. I really think that these little tablets are powerful and show a lot of potential. It is the only internet connected device we trust our kids with 100%.

We recently upgraded our daughter’s tablet to the newer Amazon Fire HD Kids Tablet, and overall it has been a really nice improvement compared to the original one we started with. One of the first things you’ll notice in the photos is the size difference between the older tablet and the new one. The larger screen is a big win for kids. Everything is easier to see and interact with, especially for games, videos, and reading. Our daughter immediately noticed the difference and prefers the bigger screen. From a personal perspective, I tend to pay attention to UI design and usability since that’s part of my background. Amazon recently made an update to the **Amazon Kids+ interface that allows the parent mode to be selected much more easily. This is a big improvement compared to how it used to work. The new layout also includes a QR code that lets you quickly download the parent dashboard app, which is a nice touch. Managing settings directly on the tablet used to feel a little clunky, so having the ability to adjust things from your phone makes the experience much smoother. That said, the kids interface could still use a bit of a refresh. As you can see in the screenshot, there is a lot happening on the screen all at once. It can feel a little busy and overwhelming to navigate. Personally, I think a simpler layout would go a long way. Kids today already get a lot of stimulation from electronics, so a cleaner design might make things easier for them to focus on what they want to do. Overall though, this tablet does a really solid job at what it’s designed for. The parental controls are strong, and being able to manage most of what my daughter can access gives us peace of mind. For the price, the value is hard to beat. If you are looking for a safe first device for your child, this is definitely one worth considering. It has been a great upgrade for our family.

Love these. It’s the second one we’ve bough. Case it comes with us a little bulky, but I don’t have to worry about the tablet falling and breaking. I’d probably only purchase this on sale though, not worth paying full price (imo). Can download enough apps/movies for all the places (time we spend traveling). Got some Bluetooth headphones and they were super easy to pair to it. Also like that I can monitor what’s going on with the corresponding app.
