Small and mighty - great primary pump!
This pump is incredible. As an exclusive pumper this has improved my life! What I love: 1. Powerful - this thing is STRONG. Even though it’s small it has a powerful suction (borderline too powerful, I live on vacuum 1 or 2) and empties me fully better and faster than my Spectra in about 10-15 min. 2. Easy single pumping option - I love that I can quickly and easily toggle from double pumping to single to give my slacker side a little longer if I need to. 3. Battery life - I can get 5-6 sessions out of a single charge which is even better than I expected. Battery charges quickly and if I plug it in after a session it’s fully charged by my next session in 3-4 hrs. 4. Portable- having full flexibility to move around while pumping without sacrificing power is a game changer. Now I can play with my kids or wash dishes/cook dinner easily while pumping. What I don’t love: 1. The included flanges/cushion - there are very limited size options for these, and the included options don’t work for me (I need 19mm). I’ve tried the flanges with 19mm silicone inserts but I prefer the 19mm hard plastic flanges I use with my Spectra. Easy to hack though, just pop the ends off the tubing and connect to the Spectra back flow protectors. 2. A bit noisy - it’s definitely louder than my Spectra especially if you put it down on a table but well worth it. The only thing I regret is that I spent so much time going back and forth on whether to buy this or not. This pump is definitely worth it and is solidly my primary pump as an exclusive pumper. By the way, this is not sponsored at all - I’m just a regular mom who is a big fan!

My favorite out of all my pumps
I personally love how strong this is but I realize everyone is built differently. I have willow go, spectra s1, and modela harmony hand pump but so far I am loving the baby Buddha the best due to the suction strength because it gets that last little bit out to fully empty me in 10min! However, I’m not in my first week of pumping so I can see how it would have hurt quite a bit had this been my first pump. This is definitely a down the road pump on the breastfeeding journey (I’d say after maybe the first month). Willow go is nice for portability but it doesn’t do the job well and actually has caused me to have painful clogged ducts 3 times now, is annoying to clean and none of the parts can be sterilized, pouring the milk from it is difficult, and it is heavy and bulky so it falls down in my bra often. Also it is hard to see if you have it positioned exactly right on the nipple. If you don’t, no milk will flow and you waste a lot of time. The wearables like the willow go are made for use once your supply is established about 3 months postpartum because their suction is not as strong. This can hurt your supply if you use it in the beginning months postpartum. The spectra works better to empty than the willow go and has a stronger pull to help empty more out but it takes twice as long as the baby Buddha and just isn’t strong enough for me anymore. I have gained about 20% more so far with the baby Buddha. I also like the different type of suction pattern that the baby Buddha has where it does 10 short tugs and one long one for the stimulation mode. The downside is that you cannot adjust the cycle and vacuum independently like you can on the spectra. The most annoying part about the baby Buddha for me is that you can only order the original spare parts directly from their website (not on Amazon). They take 7 days to arrive and cost over $50 if you buy the flanges, bottles, and covers. [Update: they are selling some on Amazon now that I see!] I’m also having some issues with the rolling ball button on the pump as sometimes it’s difficult to get it to scroll to high levels quickly enough (especially at 3am) but I do like that there are only two buttons on the instrument for simplicity. This is still my main go to pump though by far due to its portability and strength. UPDATE: my supply had tanked last month so badly that I was down to only getting about half an ounce every two hours due to using the willow go too early postpartum and not pumping enough at night which was why I looked for a new pump and now am up to 2.5oz every 2hrs and it is increasing every day! I think it is because this pump is emptying me each time, signaling to my body to make more. This pump saved my supply!

Compact, easy to use, powerful, LOVE - my new main pump!
I bought this ahead of my son's planned daycare transition and some summer travel, I wanted to give it a test drive to ensure I had something effective that I knew how to use, and that wouldn't negatively effect my supply when not using my main pump. I spent the better part of a year agonizing over this decision, as reviews for most wearable pumps are pretty polarized. I finally settled on the Baby Buddha both based on online reviews and word of mouth regarding suction power. The compatible collection cups were out of stock so at the recommendation of another Amazon reviewer, I bought the collection cups for the Momcozy V series to go with this. I outfitted each cup with the appropriate size flange insert (2 different sizes). I followed the 6 level rise in stimulation mode and then switched to level 2 expression mode, ending at 15 minutes, which follows my normal time with my main pump. My average output with my Spectra S1 is 4-4.5 total ounces per pump, which seems to serve my son's appetite just fine but sometimes leaves me with lumps/discomfort in one or both breasts. However, after my first pump with this setup, 6.5+ total per pump (almost 9 oz with my latest pump!) and I felt completely cleared out. This has held true with each subsequent use. Absolutely marvelous! My only complaint is the noise level, I cover it with a blanket or pillow when pumping but it's a mild nuisance that bears no weight on my feelings about my purchase. The only test now is product longevity I am VERY happy with my purchase at this time. UPDATE: Making this my main pump as I am consistently getting more output than from my Spectra. So grateful I took the leap on this pump, absolutely worth it!

Better than my Spectra S1!
I've been using this pump exclusively for 3 days and I am very impressed with the suction on this pump. I have sensitive nipples (usually pump on level 4 or 5 on my S1), so I'm still trying to get used to the strong suction. On the Baby Buddah, I can't go past level 1! The battery lasted about 180 minutes of pump time before I had to charge it again. I “hacked” it to use my Medela parts and pumpin pals. Just pull off the white connector piece on the ends of the tubes that connect to the flanges. The tubes fit perfectly on the end of my backflow connectors (longstem backflows). I have also used it with my Freemies while driving and the suction is great. Since my nipples are sensitive, I've found I get the best results using the pump a little differently. I start in expression mode on level 1 until I get a let down and then switch to the massage mode (10 short quick suctions plus one long suction). I get the most milk this way and I love seeing the milk pool up in the duckbills before the suction releases! When my let down is done, I'll switch back to expression mode level 1 and repeat. I hope that at some point I can tolerate leaving it in massage mode the entire pump. Also it's important to know that the default setting is massage mode when you turn it on and it auto increases the level up to 5. When I turn on the pump I immediately change it to expression mode level 1 to “prime” my nipples first. Then when you change it back to massage mode, it does not automatically increase the levels anymore. This pump has cut my pump time by 15-20 minutes. It takes me 45-50 minutes to empty with my S1, where as it takes me 25-30 minutes with the Baby Buddah. I believe that over the next couple days I may see my supply increase, since I have never had a pump empty me quite like this one. #floppyboobs It's not as quiet as the S1, but more quiet than the S9. I use it at work with no issues. I'm so excited that I don't have to lug my S1 to work anymore! My husband says the pump sounds like it's moo-ing. It auto shuts off at 30 minutes. Seriously the smallest pump ever. It fits in my pocket, bra, purse, etc. The drawstring bag it comes with is plenty big enough to fit the pump and tubes, 3 sets of pump parts and bottles, bags, small kitchen scale, and a small cooler. My only issue with the pump is how strong the level 1 suction is on massage mode. My nips are still sore going on day 3 now. I imagine I will develop a tolerance for it eventually. For those of us who have sensitive nipples, this pump will take some getting used to. Overall, I love this pump and haven't touched my S1 since using this one!

Don't expect customer service to help
This pump has been amazing. I felt way more empty after a pump and I would get MORE in less time than my wall pump. The strong suction does take some getting used to. After a few weeks though you will completely adjust. However make sure you have the correct flange size. Before I had my lactation consultant measure me, I had too large flanges and let me say, I thought I was going to lose that part of my chest. I certainly am not up to the 45oz that you see on all the ads, but there was a great amount more. I bought the pump towards the end of March. In August I noticed there was a lot less pull that I could feel. I figured I was just used to it. Then I saw a large dip in my supply. I started watching and usually after 5 minutes, milk would stop coming out even though I only would have pump enough to cover the bottom of the cup. However when I hand expressed along with the pump, I would hit my normal 3-4 Oz each side. We thought it may have been the parts so I ordered all new everything besides the pump directly from the website. Was still having the same issue. I was remembered and placement was checked and it was all good. My consultant said the last thing there would be is the pumps suction is failing. Well since I am under a 1 year limited warranty, I read through all of the warranty language and saw they cover mechanical issues. Fun fact- they will find ANY reason not to give you a new pump. They want a video of the suction of the pump for their "video analyst". Although you could clearly see my finger was barley getting pulled in, they decided the pump was working perfectly. Then they referred me to their lactation specialist even though I stated I already have one and I am very well aware how to operate my pump. They stated I HAD to use theirs. I talk with her and explain what was happening and she still said that isn't problem with the motor then wanted to pump on a video call. I tried to explain myself once again and said I was absolutely not video chatting with some one I have never met or heard of. Still kept saying it wasn't a motor issue. Thankfully I purchased a protection plan. I contacted assurion and within literally TWO minutes they happily issued me a refund once they heard everything. My advise, absolutely purchased the service plan as customer service will find any reason to not abide by their warranty. So as much as I loved the pump, this is a 1 star for a complete train wreck with customer service

Finally a pump that works for me!
This pump has been a game changer for our breastfeeding journey! My baby was diagnosed failure to thrive and I've been working so hard to build up my dwindling milk supply. I tried the motif Luna I got free from insurance, but barely got anything. Same with my decade old spectra, even though all the lactation consultants and friends said it was the gold standard. Plus, I've got 9 kids and I'm super busy and sitting at a pump all the time made my mind crazy. I had an old Imani wearable pump from Legendairy Milk and started using that because it allowed me to move around and not mentally go crazy. My supply still wasn't great, but it was doable to help supplement the donor milk my baby was on. I compared it several times to the spectra output and the Imani always won, so i don't believe EVERYONE will always respond better to a plug in wall pump, despite what everyone says. I knew my Imani was on its last leg though and needed a replacement. I tried a momcozy v1 pro but i also barely got any with that, and after trialing it for 2 days and watching my already minimal ml go down, i gave up on that one. While in the hospital with my baby, i started researching breast pumps on chatgpt. Given our situation and how i responded better to the Imani than the spectra or momcozy, it recommended i try this pump since it has the "power of a wall pump but the convenience of a wearable." I already had the collection cups, so once i figured out how to get all hooked up, it hasn't been too bad. It's strong enough that it's helped increase my supply closer to what my baby needs. It's small enough that, when used with the hands free collection cups (I have the ones from Legendairy Milk), it's super portable and I stay hooked up most of the time while I go about my life in the house or car. I do hate the tubes, but I've mostly figured out how to tuck them in my clothes so they're not in the way. We're working on getting my baby back from bottles to the breast, so I'm parallel pumping (baby nursing with a SNS syringe full of supplement and pump attached to the other side at the same time) and it's tricky with all the gadgets and hook ups, but I'm so determined (or stubborn! 😂), we make it work. My supply is increasing and I'm finally making about half of what my baby needs now, which i didn't think would be possible when I used to only get drops with the other pumps. This one IS strong, but I've nursed a lot of babies and I'm 41, so I think my body just needs that kind of strength now. So, 4 amazing stars for the effectiveness, strength, portability, and simplicity of this pump. I'm taking off a star because the tubes irritate me and the battery life is horrible. If I'm not using it, it basically has to be charging at all times. The plus side is, it will continue working while charging, so I often just stay hooked up to the charger while driving, but that's just one more thing to be hooked up to! Overall, I'm completely happy with this purchase!

Powerful & Convenient
I wish I would have bought this sooner! I had tried the spectra, Momcozy portable and an off brand pump trying to find one that worked for me. The BabyBuddha HELPED my supply as an under supplier. I can't explain the relief it gave me. It is so convenient. I bought it before traveling to a racing event where I was going to be outdoors all day for 3 days. It was easy to pack in my bag with my milk chiller. HIGHLY recommend. One thing to note is that it is very powerful, so if you are sensitive to that, that would be the only concern!

Good but could be too strong
I have a spectra S1 pump also, and level 1 on this is equivalent to about level 11-12 on spectra (which is the highest spectra will go). Which is ironic, considering how small this one is. I got it for traveling and while it’s nice how compact it is, and how easy it is to charge using standard USB-C cables (if you forget your spectra charger, good luck finding a replacement), this little Buddha can be too much at times. If you can’t handle highest levels on other pumps, you will have pain using this one - which is to say, you shouldn’t be using it. When it works for me, it’s great. When it’s too much, it’s just not acceptable. Since body sensitivity changes over time, I find sometimes I have to shelve it.

Bad experience
The device was working good, and now very bad sucking pressure noting that i changed the valves and ordered more spare parts to try all the options, bot recommended with this high price , we tried another brand with 150 dirham and works better. I want refund for this device

Move over Spectra, there’s a new pump in town!
Oh my goodness, this pump is something else. I’m a low supply mum, mostly exclusively pumping and if you are on the fence about getting this pump, just take the plunge. I didn’t get on with the flanges supplied, but I’ve successfully hacked it with my Phanpy cups, my spectra set up, and my Stride cups, with amazing results. My supply is better than ever and it’s all down to this amazing little beast! My only gripe is that there are only two modes of suction, but like I say, my supply is better than ever! She is worth every penny and more! ❤️❤️❤️ I took this pump away with me at the weekend and the battery life was amazing. As someone who doesn’t usually respond well to hands free pumps, I’m so thankful I found this pump!

Strong but doesn’t effectively empty breasts
Every single time I’ve used this pump it hasn’t emptied me at all, I’ve even spent 30 minutes on it and still doesn’t empty them. What’s the point if it doesn’t help?
