I own over 14 watches mostly analogue but wanted a traditional digigat watch not a smart one (have one of those). Liked the classic Casio but a bit retro for me. Found this one and it ticked all the boxes, simple, elegant, not bulky and no fussy features. It does the job not only really well for the price it is excellent value for money, so much so I bought another one 3 days later. I read in previous reviews that the dial is faint. Under normal conditions indoors even in dim light it is readable and not a strain, I have seen a lot worse. Another review said the strap was awful. I totally disagree they are very comfortable and forms round the wrist really well. My second watch I bought a leather strap from Amazon (cost nearly as much as the watch) only because there wasn't the watch strap colour I wanted that came with the watch. Time will tell about reliability of the watch and strap but for now I would highly recommend its purchase.

Watch recommended by a friend, his has the standard LCD display.In good light the display seems to glow, very nice, but as light diminishes it becomes less readable compared to the LCD display. Very easy to setup and use the functions. Also comfortable to wear. Recommended.

I own a Suunto Core Black [Alto-meter, Barometer & Compass] outdoor watch.I also own a SKMEI 1251 which is not an A.B.C. watch like the Suunto, but is a fantastic budget watch anyway.Both of the above are brilliant, but can sometimes be a little bulky.The Golden Hour Ultra-Thin is smart, slim, has a good & comfortable wrist strap, it is easy to set, very easy to read, the back light is sufficient and is as good as my Suunto.I set the time exactly against the BBC News clock. One week on and it has lost one second. Now if that is not good time keeping for a budget watch then I don’t know what is.This watch does everything that is claimed.I recommend it.

Absolutely love this watch. Waterproof, inexpensive, stylish, looks like the kind of thing that would have baffled people 100 years ago. A cool device that just animates itself on my wrist. Highly recommend.My only criticism is the light is a bit weak, but, that will actually extend the battery life and if you're in conditions dark enough to need it it's totally sufficient.

Nice watch, but, light did not work

Purchased for clear display and for ability to replace strap as these straps break easily and some watches make it impossible to change them so trying this as a change. Surprisingly light and thin and comfortable to wear

This watch is light, tells the time, is easy to read day or night and is waterproof. Perfect. One wee niggle is the mode button gets pushed quite often (wearing on right arm) - but otherwise love it!

Got this watch yo wear at work as I'm not allowed to wear my smart watch.Went with the reviews and they weren't wrong.......excellent value for money. Comfortable strap, easy to read and set up, decent light. I've not tested the waterproof side and probably won't but I didn't need that function anyway.Would recommend.
