Gorgeous nativity set - classy and elegant.

Beautiful size is good box it arrived in is great making it easy for storage.

I’ve been looking for a substantial nativity set for ages. All the ones I’ve looked at are heavily coloured, with detailed faces and, usually, an expensive price tag. This set fits my search perfectly. Positives: I really like that the pieces have no faces; it gives a kind of Impressionist effect. The size of the figures is perfect; the tallest being around 7 inches. They aren’t heavy but have good bases, which should stop them falling over at the slightest movement. The figures are well packed in polystyrene. Negatives: There are no wise men or shepherds, which is fine for my purposes but you might want to check if you’re hoping for the extra figures. I’m really pleased with this item but, after a bit of research, Amazon are offering very similar sets at varying prices, so it’s always worth looking around. Had I been buying this set, I would have looked at cheaper options given that the nativity set spends most of its life in the loft.

The first set I received was clearly a return, the polystyrene box was damaged and the crib was broken. I ordered a second set that came new. Beautiful set, the characters are tall, shame they don’t sell a manger to go with it. I’ll try to make my own

Lovely nativity set

This nativity set turned out to be much larger than expected but that’s my fault for not reading the measurements. I originally intended them to be part of a small nativity setting at our church but they were too large for that. Instead I utilised a glass display lantern and created a lovely lit up nativity scene. The figures are made of resin but almost feel wood-like. The paint finish is simple and neutral and gives almost a rustic effect. The larger figure is Joseph at almost 8 inches tall! At the time of order these were 54.99 which I thought was a bit too expensive considering the set doesn’t come with the wise men etc. On checking the price more recently I see it is now 32.99 which is much more reasonable for this beautiful set.
