Unfortunately I bought it on Jan 20, and it stopped working on Feb 28, eight days past the return time. Edit: the company is kind enough to send me a new one! It really is a cool machine. I don’t like to sleep in total darkness, and this provides the right kind of light to see by but not to keep me awake. I’m excited.

My two girls (6 and 10) LOVE this. They had a hard time going to sleep and staying in bed, but now turning this on is part of our nightly routine! The colors make beautiful patterns on the ceiling for them to look at and the music is beautiful. We've tried a few of the other sounds, but the one that comes on first is their favorite and helps them get to sleep every night and stay in bed. Love this! Will be buying more in the future for gifts and if this one ever stops working!

If you want your room to feel like a little oasis, this is the way to go. The pre-programed noises are ok on a quite setting & the speaker doesn't have very good sounds quality but the light is lovely. There's a remote control with a decent selection of colors to choose from as well as a dimming option. The remote makes it easy to use so you can have it placed where you want & control it from wherever you are. The base is adjustable. The cost was decent for the product received.

Worked as described twice then turns on with lights , but the motorized movement has ceased to function . Cheap, fragile & inconsistent product . Update: seller reached out and offered a prompt replacement. This one has been working fine thus far . No complaints .

This is only my first night with the product since it came right before bedtime but so far i love it. It is a little brighter than I expected. It lights up pir entire master bedroom and the water effect covers about half of our room with the current placement. Once pur daughter moves to her nursery will definitely cast the light over everything. The remote control, unlike another light we have, worls from across the room even with stuff in the way. The sound effects do seem a little busy but it's easy to just turn down the volume to turn those off. The machine comes with an auxiliary port so we can connect pur own device for white noise if we really want it. Over all im impressed and would absolutely recommend.

UPDATE 2: just a couple weeks after it stopped responding to the remote, we lost power and now it won’t come on even if I try to use the switch on the bottom. It’s just dead. 😞 UPDATE: I loved this light so much, but the other day (barely 3 months after I got it, and OF COURSE well after the return window has closed) it suddenly stopped responding to its remote. I changed the batteries in the remote to be sure that wasn’t it, but even with brand new batteries, it just won’t respond to the remote. Those “buttons” on the front aren’t buttons at all. Nothing happens when I touch them. So, now I can’t shut it off. If I do and then subsequently turn it back on I’ll be stuck with it playing music and all 3 colors at once because I cannot do ANYTHING to it with the remote. The only way I like to use this is with the music off, and the blue light on only. I’ve left it on since I realized that because I really like it. But, next time I lose power or the cord is jostled and it goes off- game over. Original review: I am addicted to this light. I got it for my Mermaid themed birthday party to simulate being underwater and holy hecc does this do that! There's 3 different colors and about 5-6 different combinations of the colors but I prefer just the blue. It simulates being underwater so well that I have it in my room and I use it at night! I fall asleep listening to ocean waves (on a separate sound machine, though this does come with music on it and a blank SD card to add your own music/sounds) and looking up at my ceiling, sparkling like the water's surface, while I lay beneath the waves like a real mermaid! And yes, I'm a grown adult, lol. So if this tickles me as much as it does, kids will go gaga for this light.

My boys love this light and the sounds! The ocean sound is their favorite and they take turns picking the color of the light each night. The remote control is very convenient to have and makes selecting sounds and color, and adjusting the volume so easy! Recently when our machine broke, I sent a message to the seller asking if there was a warranty at all. We bought ours 6-7 months ago and it just stopped working (I think it was the cord or where the cord plugs in that was having issues). They asked about the issue so they could tell the manufacturer and offered to send a replacement. We received the new one within two days and my boys were so excited. I am very pleased with the product and customer service.

This product is cheaply made and does not function properly. I am having difficulty getting the remote control and buttons on the device to toggle between functions correctly. It will sometimes shut off if you just walk past it and sometimes I have to wait a few minutes before it will respond and turn back on. Several of the sounds are nice and soothing, but I agree with other reviewers that the seagull sounds with the ocean are quite annoying. I bought this as a gift for a teenager and tried it out before giving it to her because of all the negative reviews. I decided to give it to her anyway, with the qualifier that it is tricky to operate and may not last long. She did not care for the sound function, but did like the lights projected on the ceiling. I would not buy this product again or recommend that you purchase it. However, I was unable to find a higher quality one on amazon as an alternative either.

Bought this for my daughters mermaid room. Its perfect and she loves it. She has a decent size room, 12ft by 11ft. It do not cover all her ceiling but it do cover above her bed and she don't seem to care. Lots of color options. She really just sticks to the main one. Sound is good but she don't use it. The remote could be a little better quality. The 4hr timer button wore out quickly and you have to press VERY hard now to get it to work. Had this for under 6mths so a little disappointed in that but otherwise, if the child is happy then I am happy.

This is such a cool projector. There are a bunch of different colors and combinations to choose from, and the remote is great to change the settings without having to get up. The first projector I received made some noise while operating, but the customer service was amazing and helped to fix the problem. The light works super quietly now! Would definitely recommend.

Although I love the light projection, I operate it with the sound off....I do like the nature sounds and rolling surf you get with some of these kind of products, but the recordings used for this particular machine are not at all pleasant sounding - I would have preferred even just a a very light music instead - so i use it with sound off and my own music. My only other issue with it is the remote control -- I have it near a remote control electric fireplace and the two of them unfortunately operate with same signal - because when i turn the wave projector on, it also turns on my fireplace - and when i try to adjust the colors - it shuts my fireplace back off and on again with every click.

I ordered one, it didn't work. They sent a replacement, it didn't work. Lovely idea but, seems to be a bit of a piece of junk. Won't be trying this again. Funny thing... one the cover of the manual it actually says 'Patented Product Counterfeiting". Well now... at least they are honest about but uh... not sure this is a company that I want to support....

Remote wouldn't work.. lights were decent but poor sound quality and the whole thing was just cheaply made. Sent it back right away for a refund. Maybe I just got a bad one. But I won't be buying another one.
