Rubie's Costume Medusa Serpent Headpiece

Bought for 7 yr old Medusa costume. Fits her head perfectly. When her hair is in a bun, no hair shows around the mask. Will make holes for her ears as stated in other reviews and it will need a Bobby pin to keep it from slipping forward onto her face. Upon removing the headpiece from its packaging we noticed some of the green paint on two snake heads has rubbed off. Daughter is thrilled with the headpiece.

for the price, it's not worth returning. However, it's not quite what I was expecting. This covers the full head and is very big. I have thick long (dark) hair and I think I'll put some green streaks in it and wear it hanging down. But how to fill out the rest of the rubber snake hat? Not sure cuz it's so big it slides around. (I have a normal medium size woman's head) on the plus side, I figure I can wear a black skull cap under it and it will definitely keep me warm on a chilly halloween night.Also, the snakes are pretty scary: the texture, gold eyes... tongues are white and painted inside the mouth. Still, overall and in the dark, it's a pretty good effect.

Our daughter has enjoyed using this wig for her Medusa costume, because it really gives the right effect. Indeed, she wore her costume to school one day, and a boy was scaring other students who entered a particular classroom by jumping out from behind the door. Our daughter entered, unfazed by his sudden and loud appearance, and turned to look at him. The boy took a clear look and ran screaming from the classroom. The cost of the wig was worth it.

My daughter loved this wig/head piece. It was perfect for her Medusa costume.

I bought this for my young daughter's costume. She loves the lifelike snake heads and emerald green color. I have to agree with others that more could have been done with the back of the headpiece...perhaps some swirling snakes rearing up there, too? The fit is fine for both a child an an adult.

Nice material, easy to use.

This is a bit large, so that if one has a lot of hair it will tuck under. I did a bit of customizing for my costume and it worked perfectly. This was an awesome addition to my take on Medusa.

As part of my Halloween costume, I needed a Medusa's head to carry around. I found this along with a fake decapitated head. I put this wig on the head and it looked great. It made a male head look female.

Bought this for my 8 year old for Halloween! It is so awesome! Fits her perfectly and her father too, lol. She will be an excellent Medusa this coming Halloween.
