Pfaff Select 4.2 IDT Sewing Machine

The machine works well, but I would like to say the seller went out of his way to help me, I needed a case for my machine, he was so nice, found one and posted it to me! Seller's like this are hard to find, thank you so much Paul.

This was a gift, to replace a 40 year old sewing machine. The surprise coupled with the quality of the machine and functions was very impressive. The machine was ordered and less than 48 hours it was delivered. Excellent product and excellent seller.

As a designer for a new Menswear company, I was looking for a not too fussy portable machine that would do reliable straight stitching and the usual zig zag etc.The Pfaff select 4.2 promises all this. and don't get me wrong, I have friends that love this machine and consider it the "workhorse" machine for stylist and designers that need a portable for jobs while traveling and backstage, however...my mating made a clattering sound after only three months light use, this admittedly may be a one off, but just a warning to consumers, Keep your packaging - all of it! i neglected to do this as i have a very small space and space in a studio is premium. if your machine fails, some sellers will only accept it for repair if sent back in the original boxing etc, to my dismay, i live in london, the shop was in Birmingham.I failed to read the "small print" . people often forget that its not just a machine your investing in, it's also the after service that comes with the product.
