Smart looking tap!
A quality tap with smooth action and aerated flow. Matches nicely with a HR floor standing bath filler, as not all manufacturers chrome finishes are the same.

Nice tap, decent quality
Nice tap, decent quality.....BUT who designed a wall-mounted tap designed to sit in front of a tiled wall without, as with virtually all wall-mounted taps, the facility to build the body/fitting into the wall, instead of which you have to have access to the back of the tiled wall to secure it? So unless you have access to the back of the wall after you have tiled it, or are prepared to make major compromises, for example, building in an access trap or being prepared to remove the tiling to change a tap washer, choose something else!

smart and stylish.
The heading says it all. It looks smart and stylish and was very easy to install!!I'm not a plumber or of any trade background but installed the replacement tap in less than 30mins. The tap comes with copper pipes as opposed to flexi hoses, which are the only extras you will need. A decent socket set is useful too!

Really good bath mixer taps let down by shower head
I ordered this to replace the tired old mixer tap on my bath and with one minor exception I've not been disappointed. Superb engineering quality is evident in the manufacture and the tap really looks the part and is easy to keep clean. Together with a matching sink mixer these taps have transformed my bathroom and made it look so much more modern. The only negative is that the shower head is very cheap and, when put in the supplied mount, sprays out horizontally. Clearly then this isn't meant to be a shower head but then neither does it provide enough spread to, say, wash your hair. Fortunately I'd kept my old shower head and mount and have continued to use those instead. Its a shame that the shower head lacks - but frankly even with no shower head at all I regard these taps as excellent value for money.

Pull the lever outwards
Nice tap, works well and looks good, not overly impressed with the design tho. You rotate the handle left to right for temperature but you have to pull the lever outwards for the water to come out. People visiting my bathroom complaint the tap don’t work until I show them how. Overall pretty good quality so far

Do not buy from this company
The product I bought and the support I have received can only be described as terrible. The basin taps looked good on unpacking but after fitting I noticed the following:They have no hot/cold marking. One tap turns Clockwise and the other anti-clockwise - this is very annoying as you never choose the correct twist direction and guests never know which one is hot or cold. After installation and a few months use, probably less than 200 on/offs as this is a guest bathroom and almost never used, one tap and then the other started to drip when in the fully off position. I had lost the box and manufacturer information at this point and had not gone back into my Amazon history to find where they had come from. Eventually at over a year from fitting I decided to contact Ultra Finishing who are the company behind Hudson Reed to ask for a pair of new valves to stop the dripping. I also asked their support line about the Clockwise and Counter Clockwise action of the taps. I was told that the 20 year guarantee, as stated in their brochure, did not apply to service items and that they had issued a change to the guarantee at the bottom of their website limiting themselves to 12 months in any case. This is in direct contravention of UK sale of goods acts and all consumer rights law which states that goods must be of a merchantable quality. From a reasonable persons perspective, a tap must surely work for more than 200 cycles before needing its valve replacing at £32.00 plus shipping and a possibly a plumber's bill. I was still unconvinced about the taps turning in different directions and so I contacted another retailer of these taps and asked if they turned the same way. The response was that they did both turn in the same direction, as I had always suspected. I then looked closely at the Hudson Reed catalogue and found the identical tap could be supplied with twin lever action. In this case the taps do turn ON in opposite directions, you pull the levers inwards for ON and push outwards for OFF. My conclusion is that the normal four spoke handles, see picture, had been supplied on a set of taps that should have been supplied with levers. In conclusion the Ultra Finishing /Hudson Reed company did not supply what I ordered but a mixture of parts from two different tap sets. They refuse to exchange the wrongly supplied parts or send the valves needed to repair the dripping taps. Whether the support person called Eileen who I have dealt with has knowingly lied to me or is simply following a script I do not know but I will never deal with this company again and I advise you to do the same.

englisch
