First off we put these things on and they were tight. Now the plastic head band does not adjust like most headphones. What you adjust are the wire that attaches to the earcups. Just hold the cups and pull the wires out until you get the desired length. That's where all the adjustment is. We turned up the tv pretty loud and couldn't hear anything. We spoke loudly at each other and couldn't make out any words. These things really do the trick, goodbye noise. The sound quality is no sound. They are comfortable and the ear cups are a bigger than ear cups on my stereo headphones, these include my entire ear. Update' there is only one drawback to these, the headband doesn't swivel so that you move it out of the way to wear a hat. That is important when using them outside using a blower/vac, or any noisey tool.

I have had other noise canceling headphones. My last pair wore out, so I felt glad to get a two pack, one for the outdoor noise and one for indoors. I keep the outdoors one in the garage and the inside one with my noisy floor cleaner. To call any of this type of headphone “cancelling” is a misnomer. The headphone does not cancel all noise. While wearing these headphones, I can still hear sounds around me, even the closing of a closet door. What they do help with is reducing the amount of noise that I hear. The neighbor was making a lot of noise and I put them on so I could drown him out a bit. It does help drown out some noise, but I do wonder just how much it actually does reduce noise. If I were in a place with noise over 100db, such as a concert or other loud venue, I’d likely put earplugs into my ears along with the headphones. I bought the black earphone and this color was fine for me. As far as wearability goes, they fit me just fine and are comfortable. They are more comfortable than my last pair. They are lightweight, so I hardly notice them.

I have a hearing issue, and I was told to wear ear protection. I purchase the canceling headphones for me and my wife and when I cut the grass the ear protection worked great. The price was very good, and delivery was very fast.

I bought the two pack of these headphones so a friend who was new to shooting, didn't have to worry about what to buy. Firstly, do they work at a shooting range? Yes, they suppress the sound of close quarters gun fire very well. I cannot fault them for that. My issue with this sales listing is the claim that they are "Noise Canceling." If you look up the definition of that term you will find "Noise-cancelling headphones are headphones that suppress unwanted ambient sounds using active noise control or ANC." These headphones use passive noise control. They do the job well enough, but someone expecting to have a low-cost option for ANC will be disappointed. Fortunately for me, I was not expecting ANC from this product and you shouldn't either. They are made of a thick, noise deadening material that prevents sounds from reaching your ears. Passive noise cancellation has been used for centuries and there is nothing wrong with it. As a basic set of earmuffs, they are fairly easy to use. When adjusted properly, they are as comfortable as any other quality, passive earmuffs and they seal well. Like most earmuffs, they fold up to a reasonably small form, but there are others out there that fold up smaller. As for adjustability, they are adjustable, but I had to set them at their largest setting or they would press against my ear lobe. Maybe I just have a big head so I guess I can't knock them for that. If you just want an inexpensive set of earmuffs to protect your ears from loud noises, these do an acceptable job. Just don't expect ANC.

I was expecting to have these fit but they are not large enough to fit an adult’s head fully expanded. Appear to be nice but to small. Great for kids. I ordered them for work so they got a single star due to size.
