Durable, attractive and effective. Offers reasonable protection for glasses against knocks and scratches. Velcro is pretty secure though you do have to watch you don't catch the holster on table edges, etc. as you sit down (worst situation is getting into a car!)

The velcro belt clip is simply not man enough for the job, but with a dab of hot glue on the velcro making it a permanent loop rather than detachable it is now a great item, protect my glasses perfectly.

It's too easy to unfasten. if it had a stud fastener that would make it a very good product, instead of just another spec's case. Update June 2016 - this case does not stand up to usage.I adapted the strap to be longer,that was OK for a while then the stitching at the top of the case gave way so case was usless .Downgraded from 3 star to 1.

It may well cure me of the habit of leaving my specs lying around and forgetting where; with this they're always either on my nose or strapped to my belt. There's a little shiny metal clip on the seam at one side of the case. You can see it in the picture. Don't do as I did and take it off to see what it's for; it's there to cover the join and trying to get it back on again is fiddly. This item is efficiently designed and offers both protection and easy access. I'm very pleased with it.

Rugged, tough, works well on the belt

Velcro fastener easily gets undone with the prospect of losing case AND (possibly expensive) glasses as I have by simply adjusting your seatbelt whilst in a car.

Second case of this type, last one lasted two years of constant use.
