Great design and quality and 30 cog works with DA short cage.
Great design and quality. The one piece steel inner 9 cogs are precision gears and the outer most cogs are also perfect. I am using the 11-30 cassette with a Shimano Dura Ace shifter which is not the 100% ideal setup, all SRAM Red would work ideally but I had Dura Ace, and requires more attention to shifting technique but the 30 cog does work with the short cage derailleur. Also am using a SRAM Red 22 chain. Update. The cassette wore out after 1,000 miles. A little disappointing given the steep price. Even used a Sram Red chain with the cassette. The design creates a "drum" noise effect which is irritating. Will wait a few years to see if the issues get resolved before I look at this cassette again.
