I use this kind of cane for support more than for hiking. Over the years I have used a popular, and far more costly brand, but quality seems to have slipped some. I gave this unit a try and have not been disappointed. It appears to be very solid in its design and construction. The shock absorbing mechanism is superior to the competition, excellent. It is a bit heavier, but I didn’t take away a star because I relate the extra weight to extra quality.One odd thing to be aware of. You buy two canes for this price. As shown in the Amazon display page, you will receive a black cane and a blue cane. Since I occasionally need two canes for walking, this leaves the appearance that I’m using odd canes, not a matching pair. After talking with Amazon (They can’t control everything about their sources) and evaluating the quality, I solved the problem by buying a second set. Now I will have two sets, one black and the other blue. Almost took a star off for this little oddity, but the quality deserves the five stars.

They are quality hiking poles that come with all the attachments. The handles are comfy and the snap locks work well, I'm 170 pounds and can lean on them with all my weight with no slippage. I was looking for something that I can use a couple times a year without dropping80+ dollars. These are perfect.

 Great hiking Trail Pole, its very light as well as durable and adjustable. Came with different tips so its easy to adjust/change the terrain. great support. I have used it several times since I got them and these were great. I think the best part is how light these are, easy to carry and stored when not in used.

Looks great! Works fine so far! Used these the first time yesterday on an intermediate hike. Did some solid hill climbing, scrambling on a large variety of terrain. Super glad I had these- especially on some of the hike sections. The felt solid underneath me.

I bought the poles to protect my right knee which I have twisted years ago.They are my first poles.At first I felt like a spider that need to balance my legs and the poles.But they are friendly to the beginner.They are nice light weight poles and easy to adjust.

Very solid trekking poles. We tested them during the middle long hiking trail this weekend. The poles are light, and easy to adjust the length and retighten. I feel it very strong when I use it. Good for pulling myself up :-) Look forward to using these poles in various national parks and hills. Hope it can last long.

Poor quality, could not be adjusted properly. One section of tubing was missing from one of the canes. Would not recommend. Returned for refund.
