Loved the Bible, the leather, the page setting, printing...all good. But returned straight away without using as the inner cover was coming away from the leather outer...flagged as an issue by other reviews..Crossway need to sort this out and I will definitely consider buying again...

Very nice leather. I would recommend applying a bit of mink oil, dubbin wax, or some other leather treatment to the cover when you first receive it, as the leather is a bit dry out of the box.The pages are very thin (hence "thinline") and do have a tendency to stick together on the edges, likely from the gold coating. This can be alleviated by running your thumb down the corners of the pages a few times to help unstick them. The thin pages also do not react well to water, so be careful. If you are looking for something sturdier you will have to get a larger copy.The maps in the back are beautiful and help to understand and contextualize the different places described in both the old and new testament.Overall, I am very happy with it.

Mis-cut pages and splotchy foiling on the edges. Was expecting better attention to detail and presentation at this price point.The leather is not top grade, showing signs of use straight out of the box. Form factor of a thinline is 10/10 but save yourself the extra and get one of the cheaper options.

this Bible is super nice. real full grain leather. perfect size. red letters. good font size. gold gilding. nice ribbon marker. footnotes. concordance and maps in the back. its got everything. definitely recommend

First I want to address some of the negative reviews. In regards to the "imperfections" in the leather, this is because of how full grain leather is made. After the hide is prepared then NOTHING else is done to it other than cutting it to the product. The reason why other types of leather processes don't have as many or any imperfections is because that layer is removed. Because this layer is not removed in full grain leather it's thinker and more durable.There is also a review that claims that the label says imitation leather, there is no such label. This is full grain leather.This Bible is made well and I like the fact that it's smaller and the text is smaller. I have no problem reading smaller print and even prefer it so this is good.I look forward to having this Bible for a long time and it possibly being an heirloom.
