Very surprised how fast these cut and look well made, packaged with everything you need. Go slow and let the tool do the work. Would buy again.

Heavy duty and durable. Much better quality than some hole saws you buy at Home Depot. Will likely outlast the drill driving it. Very sharp and cuts through steel like butter.

So, good, bad and ugly style. The good, the hole saw did a pretty solid job dealing with cutting a 4.5" hole in the side of a shipping container. For reference the corrugations are roughly 3.25 in so this means that a portion of the time the blade is cutting at a nasty angle / bevel. It broke / shattered the tips of most of the teeth but things to it being tungsten carbide the edges were still very sharp and were able to continue to choose their way through allowing me to make four holes. Now using a hand drill the bit is pretty well spent so I'd have to buy another one if I was going to do another building but should be okay if I have to do any Hardie board. The bad, it took only about 3 minutes in the first cut using a hand drill on a 4 and 1/2-in hole to start breaking teeth, but as listed in the previous category it makes enough sense to say it's okay. The ugly, The pilot bit barely made it through the piece of sheet metal before it had snapped forcing me to figure a way to knock out a extremely hard piece of metal. Not sure what metal it's made from but it broke like glass with shards. During the scenario the pilot bit set screw had also found a way to manage to get its self loose which no doubt helped aid in its failure. The bit shank is made of a soft enough metal that during use it would try to free itself from the drill chuck due to vibration and required retightening multiple times. In the end the bit did what I needed and at the price tag is kind of steep to get through four holes but I was using cutting grease and a 18 volt drill. All in all it was worth it

I upgraded my deadbolt and needed to expand the hole for the new deadbolt. First I tried a hole saw from HF. It refused to cut. I found this and bought it. It cut through the door in seconds. I’ll probably never have a reason to use it again but it was definitely worth it.

Worked great on my stucco exterior wall for my Garage Mini Split AC install.

Do NOT buy. The drill bit in the center is not actually operating as a drill bit. It doesnt spin! The bore hole where the bit sits is completely smooth, meaning when trying to drill, the bit stays still. Not to mention the teeth being enormous, it doesnt exactly make a clean hole even if I drill my own hole and put the existing bit inside to stabilize. It vibrated, a single tooth caught, and the entire tool EXPLODED. What is this thing made of to just explode like that? Im honestly impressed with how impossibly absurd this whole experience was. A drillbit that doesn't spin? A hole saw that explodes? Insane.

The other sizes 5/8ths and above comes with a spring attached to the bit so the metal doesnt get stuck in the hole saw. But for the 1/2 inch one, no spring! So good luck getting the piece out.
