Thorn: 5-star razor, 5-star value
I have tested a ton of razors, and the Thorn is hands-down my favorite for many reasons. This kit is also a great value with accessories that are actually worth the extra $20 you pay over the standalone razor. The Leaf and Supply razors were constantly popping up in my social media feeds, and I decided to give the Supply a try. Great customer service, but it didn't impress me. I bought a Leaf (the razor with the 1, 2, or 3 blade option) and found it was great but impossible to get under my nose. I then bought a Twig and found it to be surprisingly pleasant, but a bit too mild for daily use. Then I tried the Thorn. WOW!Though the Thorn only has .2mm more blade exposure, that makes a big difference. I would compare this to Level 4 on my Gillette adjustables. A nice medium shave that doesn't leave my skin cut or irritated. I would compare this to the type of shave I was comfortable with for years on my disposable Gillette Fusions. For anyone just getting into the safety razor world, you need to understand that this type of razor doesn't require the near-scrubbing pressure you need with a disposable. You use virtually no pressure and just let the razor do the work as you gently glide it across your skin. Avoid going against the grain until you have mastered the technique.Though you can save $20 and get the standalone razor, I highly recommend this Twig or Thorn kit because you're getting an extra 50 blades, a matching stand and a blade disposal tin.I rarely give five-star reviews, but this Thorn set is worthy. Two enthusiastic thumbs up from me.

Pleasantly surprised
Just got the Thorn and… I’m impressed. I don’t have a hard time finding the angle, unlike with some DE razors, and it gives a better shave than my Gillette Fusion. I was worried it would be tough to get precise in the upper lip area, but was pleasantly surprised that it really wasn’t an issue. The blades it came with are fine, but I’ve switched to using a Feather blade with this. Snapping the blade in two was easy, and at $20 for 50 (which becomes 100) it means I could probably go through the entire year with just $50 worth of blades, if I shave 6 days a week. The Gillette cartridges are ~4x the cost.I only wish I had gotten the green.

Mostly Satisfied
The razor shaves close, but I have never nicked myself. The blades that come with it are ok, but nothing fantastic. You can always use other blades though. My only complaint, and the reason for only 4-stars, is that it is difficult for me to get a great, close shave on my chin for some reason. I don't know if it is the angle of the blade or something else, but for me, it just doesn't work well on my chin.

Possibly the best razor I ever used
After trying multiple safety razors, I ended up finally getting the Leaf Twig and Leaf Thorn. I was put off by them at first due to the single edge and how it didn't have the traditional DE razor design, but boy, this might be the best single edge razor out there. It's so smooth and efficient. While the Twig might be technically "less efficient" than the Thorn, I get the same shave with both of them after 2-3 passes. Both are great razors, but I think the Twig is sufficient for most people.I loved this razor so much, I got 3 of them for the house. I bought two for myself: Twig and Thorn, and a Twig for my wife. I'm also planning on giving them as gifts for my friends' birthdays. They would get the benefit of a close, irritation-free shave associated with safety razors with the conveinence and comfort of cartridge razors. The way the razor is shaped makes it foolproof when learning how to shave. Also the head is skinny, so it's perfect for hard to reach places like under the nose or along the beard lines. If you're new to safety razor shaving, start off with their blades or mild blades like Treet or Derby Extra. If you want more efficiency and have experience with such razors, I love pairing this razor with sharper blades like Personna Platinum and Gilette Nacet.I highly recommend!!!

Sharp and Leafing All Other Blades.
Seen the advertisement for forever and finally took the plunge. Honestly, this is the best of the best and the only thing I’m disappointed in is that fact I took so long to try it. Sharpest and most efficient tool out there. Blades are super inexpensive and great recyclable box keeps everything safe and earth friendly. 10/10.

Buy it!
A great one edge razor. Far superior to disposable razors except for one thing—if you travel by air, pack it in your checked baggage. But compared to any of the mass produced disposable razors, (Harry’s, Jeremy’s, Dollar Shave, Gillette—far closer shave with no nicks.

Cuts sensitive skin BAD
The worst shave of my life. I used it maybe six times and each had between 2-10 cuts. Do NOT buy for sensitive skin. I used the oil and high end shaving cream. The stand is too small for the razor and shakes if you hit the table or if you don’t put it down fully it wobbles. Do not buy.
