This is a first quality Spanish verb book. Each chapter covers a different tense of the verbs, explains how they're formed, any irregular ones, and is filled with exercises that let a person get plenty of practice. One added plus is the answers to the exercises are in the back of the book. This allows the student to check immediately to make sure that they've grasped the concept correctly. Since the book has no audio, one can easily log into SpanishDict online to listen to the verb's pronunciation. It's just my preference, but I do the exercises in a separate notebook as I never seem to have enough space. Also, it keeps the book clean so you can use it for many years. If a student were to do all the exercises in this book, they should have a good understanding of verbs. One more added feature. It has in the back a Spanish/English and an English/Spanish dictionary so that's helpful.

The pages feel like acid-free newsprint, which makes me concerned about how well the book will hold up over time. It's a shame to see such high-quality content printed on what seems to be a lower-grade paper. Despite this concern, the educational value of this book is undeniable, and it's a tool I will continue to use.

Excelllent resource on verbos for a Spanish learner. I like the way it is organized and it’s easy to find the tenses i am looking for.

Trying to learn Spanish on an certain app was difficult. Rules weren’t spelled out on the most part. I struggled and wasted much time trying to understand verb tenses and rules that weren’t clear or explained . Finally bought this book! Clear, straight forward, practice pages. What a difference in learning.

Suitable for beginners through to more advanced learners who want to strengthen grammar foundations. A reliable study book that genuinely helps progress. As a language tutor I find these books reliably excellent to use. There isn't much difference between this 5th edition and the older editions so if you can find an older one that is cheaper, get it!

useful book however i think it has the same issue as the "Spanish Pronouns and Prepositions" book which i ordered together. the paper quality is not good, you can't use highlighter on it because it will seep through the pages, additionally for this book, if you are using pencil and you tried to use an eraser for erase your mistakes, the printing will fade plus it looks like it will tear a hole in the paper if you erase many times.
