HS Headlight Restoration Kit, Complete set for Polishing Dull Headlights

Someone kindly keyed or bag zipped my motorbike headlight on the dipped beam lens. I attempted a repair using 400 to 7000 grit wet and dry by hand, but wasn't happy with the outcome... although I got rid of the deep gouge mark. Using this HS kit was very straightforward and a lot less effort. Be sure to hold the mounting pad that fits in the drill else the velcro starts to lift away when you change discs. It suggests 4 to 5 mins per disc, this seems excessive for the lower grits, and not enough for the higher. After polishing, I did have some very faint marks right on the outer edge in a couple of places, nothing that screams rework tho. Overall, the lens is scratch free and as clear as the high beam lens so I'm extremely happy how it turned out.

I've got a 2015 Ford Transit and the headlights had become so cloudy I decided to do something about it.Bought this kit based on the reviews, used it today (after following instructions to a tee) and after about an hour I had a pair of brand new looking headlights again. It really has taken a few years off the van, it looks great.The only advice I would give would be - get a friend to stand there spraying the headlight non stop with water - dont attempt to wet it, sand it, wet it, sand it etc... it needs to be wet all the time if you want excellent results.The polishing made a bit of a mess on the bodywork, and the tape supplied wasnt long enough, but luckily I had electrical tape so used that. Maybe it was me getting carried away, but I wouldnt wash your car before doing this job!All in all, a decent quality kit for a good price that did an excellent job. Just don't rush, take your time.

I was wasn’t sure this kit would make a difference but for the price it was worth a shot. It’s excellent! Used in a 20 year old Mini and the results are better than I thought (photos don’t do it justice). Instructions are simple although I found it better to do 30 - 44 seconds then wet the headlight and repeat this 5-6 times for each grade of paper. I was concerned that i wasn’t making an improvement but when you get to the 2000 disc it suddenly improves so don’t worry if you think it’s not working. Discs are durable and will let me do it again with this set (there are two sets of each).The first photo is after I’d reworked that light the second is the one left to do. The difference doesn’t come across perfectly but it’s there for sure. The next night drive will show the benefit I’m sure.

was a bit skeptical as I am not the most DIY. But I got this as my headlights got an advisary last year for being yellow and brightness levels. Took the plunge cause it was this or new headlights anyway. Well it worked, no longer yellow, bright ,clear and for my experties level surprisingly easy. The masking tape only just managed to cover my large and weirdly shaped headlights, the instructions are clear and easy to follow. I would recommend setting yourself up first with all the stuff you need so you not having to get things. Addition to the kit, I would say wear old clothes and shoes, you will get mucky and a spray bottle with water in, bucket, sponge and soap for cleaning the headlights first and cloths to dry them off . An electric drill or similar to attach the polish head. it will cover your car in little white spots which will wash off easy. Happy with the results and took about 30 mins from start to finish.

To use the product to get a very well quality, you need a good 3 hours and patience to do the job.I have used an electric drill; but I found that manually polishing-up might be even better. If you got a very good drill, try use an electric drill. I have used drill for the final red sponge to apply polishing paste.You need 3 big buckets of water. Water during the polishing-up will have a good quality.I've uploaded two pictures for each of my headlights.I don't my work has the the best effects; but I am very satisfied with my results. It is old car so I am happy the results conditions.If you also have an old car like me, it is a 2013 Peugeot, then you can focus on the big area of the lights beaming area. That is much important for the lights to shoot the ground during night time.After all, the product is very good. Once again, you need a good 3 hours and patience to do the job.

Everything you need in here. Just stick adapter in a battery drill and have a spray water bottle to keep everything nice and wet. Gets a bit messy, so I taped some rubble sacks around the light, rather than just a thin bit of tape. Was really nervous sanding a clear bit of plastic, but worked like a dream. Would recommend!

I was so excited after seeing all the reviews and pics but unfortunately it didn't work for me. It didn't make much difference even though I followed the instructions correctly with a drill, spent over 4 hours. Can't tell the difference between before and after.Volvo V40, headlight had light scratches or more like snowy/frosty affect.

Works great, just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong. All you need is a drill, a spray bottle of water and off you go. (The After photo was taken 3 days later, I forgot!)

Difficilmente scrivo recensioni ma questo kit merita davvero! Ho comprato un'auto usata che era stata per anni sotto al sole. Ho comprato il kit leggendo le recensioni ma sinceramente non mi sarei mai aspettato un simile risultato. Seguite le istruzioni alla lettera, ho dedicato circa 1 ora e mezzo a fanale ed il risultato è stato eccellente. Sono praticamente tornati nuovi! 5 stelle meritatissime.

werkt perfect zoals je op de fotoos kunt zien! de eerste foto is voor de behandeling en de tweede erna. maar dat kan je ook goed zien.
