Lincoln block Horse Grooming Block - black, one size

Fab little groom block. Perfect for when the shedding season comes.

I knew what I was buying as I have used this when I owned a horse. This time it is for my rescue lurcher. The block removes loose hair easily and painlessly. Brush lightly over the coat, when block is full tap it on wall or ground and the hair just falls off and is ready for use again. You will get little bits of grit coming off, just sweep your hand down the coat to get rid - it’s a natural product that will slowly wear down after many, many uses. It’ll last a good couple of years. It is volcanic so it does have a smell, this does not transfer to the coat, it simply means that you should keep the block in a plastic bag or box. In conclusion - save lots of money (and pain for your smooth coated dogs) and buy this rather than a harsh brush

Getting rid of dried mud is the bane of any horse owner and those plastic toothed brushes are not very effective. This little block works because it loosens the mud from the hair without touching the skin or working the mud back into it. This one was the cheapest and quite small but easy to hold. Would definitely recommend.

Always used these when I had horses but now use them on my Chihuahuas to strip their top coat, they are so good for this as it is totally painless as there is no hair pulling

When i ordered this i had an idea of the size that this would be, Well i was very wrong it was tiny it was the size of a soap. The one that i had bought before was a great size and i used it for a long time untill there was not alot left of it I will be totally honest it does work and can be used but it is a very small item and i found myself dropping it. It is well made and does do the job Thank you

I wasn't too sure about using this block instead of a brush, but wow!!! Fur was coming off so easily, the floor was absolutely covered in the first 5 minutes, honestly one of my best buys... and to top it all off a certain hoofed friend seemed to be very much enjoying the new purchase
