Onerbuy Universal Leather Car Steering Wheel Stitch On Wrap Cover DIY Sewing Breathable and Anti slip, 15-Inch (Black)

This is the 2nd of these One4buy DIY sew on covers that I've bought. This time I was looking to revitalise a worn white Fiat 500 steering wheel. There are many options out there claiming to be specific to this car and costing £30. For a third of the price I chose the grey material of this cover over the beige or black, and thought I'd build on the steering wheel cover sewing skills I've developed from my first cover. This time it took 1hr 35mins to see in place and I avoided some minor mistakes I made before, plus the major mistake of pulling too hard on the thread and breaking the stitching which is already on the cover that is used as an anchor. I really like the texture and look of the material and how for a cheap price combined with some investment of concentration on my part sewing it on has transformed the old Fiat interior.

Love these they fit really well and if you take your time it’s hard to tell it’s not original to the wheel .

Took me 1.5 hours . Good quality material and thread for the price. The thread was nice and thick and I only used one bundle somehow. Fit perfectly and almost looks factory

Stiching smaller at one side so when trying to fit stiches start to go off at an angle rendering not fit for purpose .. material is good but no good without even stiching at both sides

I was pleasantly surprised by this item. It was well packaged and felt a nice quality, plus there are two sets of cord and needles included with the cover. I watched a few You-Tube video's before attempting the job which gave a lot of confidence, but despite some people claiming record times of doing it, I took one and a half hours, which I suppose wasn't too bad for someone who had never sewn before, plus it was a very dull day and I was sewing with black cord. Patience and a torch are two things worth having when you do this. I only used one cord and still had 6 feet left over which made me think that I had gone wrong somewhere, but it feels good and looks really neat so I'm sure that I got it right. Anyway, highly recommended and it turned my hard, slippery steering wheel into something pleasant, and much safer to use.

THIS WAS DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS .. PICTURE IS NOT MY DOOR!!!! I have foot high numbers on bins at end of driveway and a plate outside on fence showing number. Person who had my delivery read the address label and kindly delivered to us

Very happy with the quality and with the finished look , took me a while but I'm no upholstery expert Did try to add a pic but it wouldn't upload

Took about an hour to stich it on so make sure you have enough time before starting. It certainly isn't difficult but you need to pay attention to where your next stitch will go. That said i made a few mistakes and it isn't eye catching or noticeable unless you know where to look. I had mirror positioned behind my steering wheel to make it easier to see the rear stitches. Difficult to rate the durability as that will be tested over time. It feels good and doesn't look or feel as like it has added any thickness to the steering wheel. Now that is on and the difference it has made to the overall look i will be getting another for my other car.

My 6 year old caddy steering wheel showing a little wear and tear so thought I would try this steering wheel cover as a cheap experiment. If it didn't work, not out a lot of $. Well it worked like a charm. Fit was good and installation went very smoothly. Just make sure you don't yank on the thread as you pull through as it will rip the hole. You kinda have to establish a "feel" for pulling through and then pressing down on the thread at the hole while you pull the thread taught. Took me about an hour, and I was very happy with the result. Just take your time and make sure there are no gaps or gathers as you go around. Love the final look and feel.

L'ho acquistato con basse aspettative, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere, il risultato è molto al di sopra delle più rosee aspettative. Ci sono volute circa 2h tra farlo calzare nella posizione corretta e cucirlo con cura, ma il risultato paga il tempo dedicato Montato su Fiat Ducato Camper, comodo il fatto di avere impugnatura più grande, bello ed elegante, piacevole la sensazione soft al tatto. Per ottenere un buon risultato è fondamentale dedicare attenzione e cura alla cucitura. D'ora in poi qualunque mio veicolo non abbia il volante in pelle di serie riceverà lo stesso trattamento. Ottima soluzione anche per rivestire volanti usurati o prevenire usure (questo rivestimento non è incollato quindi si può sostituire più volte senza controindicazioni se non le 2h necessarie per il lavoro)
