Beach Diamond Painting Kits

This is the first time that I've bought a diamond painting that isn't a particular premium brand. I have heard so many bad things about cheap diamond paintings and was afraid, but I decided to give this one a shot because I really liked the design. Pros: -The price. It's about 1/3-1/2 the price of a similar sized painting from a premium brand. -The canvas is sturdy cloth material that is on par with what I have gotten with premium brands. -The drills seem every bit as good of quality as I'm used to with premium brands, extremely low amount of messed up ones. The sparkle level I'm not 100% sure about yet because I only did about 3"x3" of my painting so far and it's too early to really tell, that might be a little lower quality. -The squares on the canvas are colored very closely to the color of the drills meant to go there so gaps between drills won't look horrible if I make some mistakes. -The glue I actually like better than what I'm used to, but this might be a personal preference. It is thick enough to grip the stones well, but it does have more give if you are purposely trying to move a misplaced drill. Where the canvas was folded, the glue didn't get the notorious bubbles and rivers I have heard so much negativity about with cheap paintings. -Included accessories are slightly above average. It comes with some cheap tweezers, which a lot of paintings don't. The wax is as good as I'm used to. You get a foam grip for the included pen. The included pen comes with a fairly decent size multiplacer. The tray doesn't have a pour spout though and is pretty small, so that's not my favorite. Cons: -I don't like how the drill packages are labeled because it only has the number that correlates to the position on the key, not the DMC number of the drills, along with a generic number of some kind that identifies that it belongs with this painting. -The canvas spots are labeled with just letters and numbers, which is a lot harder on the eyes and easier to make mistakes than brands that alternate letters, symbols, and numbers to make it easy to tell what goes where. You have to pay extra attention. -The colors matching so close on the canvas to the drills, while the end product looks better, makes it easy to make mistakes because the letters look similar enough that if you aren't paying close attention, you could put the wrong drill. -The pixelation is pretty good for such a small painting, but there are a few areas that I think a premium brand would have manually changed things to give a better look. It seems like the design was done digitally without any extra care, or it was given a little attention but not much. If this were a square drill painting, I would probably just put some of the drills differently in the bad spots, but because it's round drill, the old color will show around the edges and look even worse. Overall, I'm really happy that I decided to give this painting a shot. It is a lot better than I expected for the price. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for more paintings from this brand that I like the design on. I wouldn't rate this 5 stars if it were the same price as premium brands, but I have to give a star rating appropriate for what it's priced at, so I think it deserves 5 stars. Additional thoughts, I don't usually use a light under my paintings, but I think I might want to invest in one if I do more like this with no symbols and all letters, because it's a lot harder to tell what is what. Edit: Now that I've gotten about 1/4 of it done, I can see that the sparkle of the drills is really nice. I tried my best to capture it in a pic. I sectioned off my painting with washing tape, which is not included in this kit FYI. Hopefully you can see the amount of pixelation I was describing, in the stars it's pretty obvious it's different from a premium brand, but its still pretty good for the size.

I ordered this diamond painting for my pre-teen daughter, and she absolutely enjoyed working on it. The image is clear, vibrant, and true to the picture shown. It came with all the diamonds needed to complete the project, which was greatly appreciated. The design is adorable, and I feel it offers excellent value for the price. Experiences like this are the reason I continue to purchase from this seller. The size is also perfect for framing once completed, making it a lovely piece to display on the wall for family and guests to admire. I would definitely recommend this diamond painting to others.

The cutest little diamond painting ever. This was my first diamond painting and now I want to get more of them. It's a fun and relaxing activity to do if you need hours and I mean HOURS of time to kill. Took me 5 months to finish but I am so happy I purchased this. I think it is a good size for beginners and the quality is super good as well. The paper is a good stickiness for the drills to stick down. I do recommend mod podging it at the end to make sure it holds up.
