Decent product for holding keys or small things without much weight. It gets the job done, but thought it would sturdier.

This thing is an absolute beast if you're using it to hold your keys. Meaning, it's not going to break on you and it will likely last a very long time. But, you're carrying around keys on a key chain that's already heavy on it's own. There's some weight to this thing. Otherwise, it's well made. The clip is smooth and has no issues. Stitching seems well done and I don't imagine it will fray easily.

I use a Smartkey holder, and I find that it is now a little too compact. By adding this oversized key chain I get a better tactile sense of my keys on my person. While it is a bigger object, it also naturally folds down and takes up very little space, so it comfortably fits in the pockets of every pair of jeans that I own. My only real dislike is the carabiner ring that it comes with. It feels very light-duty, and I may just replace it with a regular split ring.

I'm tired of the militaristic wannabe look, frankly, and knock-off Cobra buckles (in my experience) tend to be less well machined and eventually fail. That said, this is more for looks than function. It's overkill for keys and EDC. You could keep it inside your bag and then detach to use your bits and bobs. But, this just seems like someone took a bunch of knock off standard lanyard hardware and cobbled up a look.Pass on this, unless you're into the Mall Ninja Camo Militia look.
