LOVE LOVE LOVE this version of Tineco- WELL worth the price! Even the cord.
I purchased this during Prime Days- same price as today's price FYI. I have been happy with it each time I have used it, cleans so well I think I could confidently eat something off the floor if it dropped there- and I can be pretty picky about that. We have an apartment with hardwood floors, one cat, and I am not good about taking my shoes off at the door. If that gives you an idea of what it is dealing with. The only downfall I have found is the cord is thick and heavy and hurts to step on barefoot, so beware and wear shoes when using if your feet are sensitive. The amount of time it takes to clean it out at the end is no more than if I were to clean up after mopping, maybe even easier. it has a self clean mode that gets it mostly clean, then I just rinse it all off once it is done. Today was the first time that I didn't vacuum or sweep the floors before using this so it cut my time in half, I don't know what I was thinking before. This thing picks it ALL up, all the hair, dust bunnies and dust lions, the dirt, food, crumbs, anything at all. If there was something that had been there a while and dried up, I only hover over it for a few seconds more and the steam works it out. My floors are so clean and nice to walk on when it is done, so very very happy with this purchase. It was well worth it! The assembly before each use is really just putting it all back together and adding clean water to the clean water tank. This takes less than one minute. The stand it comes on to complete the self clean mode works nice to hold the items for drying. When I complete the self clean cycle, I use a butter knife to sort of squeegee the water out of the fabric brush. That makes drying much quicker as it pushes any remaining water out of the fabric. Then I just have to rinse the dirty water chamber and use the included brush to help that process, the clean water I empty out and leave to air dry as well as the filter, I rinse that and leave to air dry. Overall, the cleaning process is very easy! Ultimately quite satisfied with this Tineco and highly recommend it.

Replaced under warranty. I love this cleaner
*Customer Service update* As promised here's my update regarding my experience with Tineco's customer service. Their Customer Service Reps are patient, attentive and very friendly. I've interacted with about 5 or 6 of them and each one of them made the experience pleasant. The best way to contact Tineco is through the chat feature on their website. Emails take on average 24 to 36hrs for a response. Phonecalls are tricky as well. I think some are located overseas so there is the timezone difference to consider when calling and when you do get a live person they recommend the chat. 🟩 The Chat Is very convenient and quick. They emailed me a return shipping label once I supplied proof of purchase, the serial number of the machine, a summation of what happened and pictures of the damage. I shipped back everything they requested and they shipped me a refurbished machine ( their refurbished machine tend to be machines returned though the machine has no defects). I was skeptical but once I received the replacement machine I was satisfied. 🟩Shipping + Cost Tineco provided a shipping label at no cost to me. The replacement was shipped once they received my machine NOT while mine was in transport as stated. Overall it took about 2.5 weeks to return and receive the replacement. 🟩Replacement Machine It functions well so far mechanically and has no noticeable defects, scratches etc. Perfect condition. 🟩Overall Tineco gets an A+ for customer service! They were friendly and helpful. They also checked with me via email and phonecall to make sure the machine met my satisfaction. **Original Review* I like my Tineco. It does exactly what it promises to do. Its light weight & takes up very little space. Its also easy use and clean. I use it on average 2 or 3x a week. I bought this version because it has a ( nice, very long) cord. I like to go over surfaces repeatedly and don't want to feel rushed because of the battery constraints of other models. I purchased this machine as gifts for family and finally bought one for myself Dec. 2023 since my family like their machines. 🔸️Cleaning Pros: This machine maneuvers easily. I love the steam clean feature. It picks up everything leaving my tiled floor sparkling. Its also wonderful on wood floors too. 🔸️Cleaning Cons: My only complaint is that I do have to clean corners by hand. This machine simply cannot reach those areas but there are newer models that can. Again I bought this model because of the cord. Its now Feb. 2025 and unfortunately just when I was about to use it, the base inexplicably just crumbled and the empty Dirty water tank fell off. The machine is still under warranty. I contacted Tineco and so far it seems promising. I will update my review in regards to my repair/ warranty experience once it's concluded.so far the customer service has been very nice.

Utter disappointment
We have a cordless tineco vacuum. We love it, which is why I chose this brand for a floor steamer. This item does not work properly out of the box. The "auto" mode is supposed to detect the amount of dirt on the floor and the display is supposed to turn shades of blue or red, depending on the dirt level. This item on auto mode ALWAYS is fully blue, indicating no dirt. While that's very flattering, tineco, I am 100% certain my floors are not nearly that clean. This one is a dud, I decided, so I'll send it back. So, I intended to re-purchase and stick with the brand; it's not a big deal to be the one who catches the odd dud. HOWEVER, here are my cautions to consider before you believe you're ok with rolling the dice on this one in the event you wind up with a dud. First, to send it back you need to repackage this on your own; you can't drop it off un-packaged. So, a word of warning, KEEP YOUR BOX UNTIL YOU'RE SURE IT'S WORKING or until your return window closes (which I did). Second, now that I'm trying to repurchase less than 30 days after buying it, the price has gone up about $70! And I am not being offered the option to exchange, only to return and repurchase for $70 more--an item that did not work properly on delivery in the first place! [Which may be an Amazon thing and not a tineco thing, but I'm not reviewing Amazon itself here.] Third, tineco customer service is available by phone M-F, 9a-6p, which is exactly when I'm at my job. Not very accessible and helpful. I expected a lot more from a brand that seems to focus on thoughtful, consumer-friendly features. I regret this purchase and I have lost brand loyalty. I am going with a Bissell for half the price without the features that I wanted in the tineco. I have several other Bissell products and they have all functioned perfectly out of the box. Was everything else actually working? I don't know. It was deploying steam in steam mode, and the dirty water reservoir was filling up in both modes. Was it getting my floors as clean as it's supposed to? No idea. That's one of the selling features but it did not work. At this price point, it should all work. Overall, the features that did seem to work for me: The self-propulsion. It's nice when you're using it. However, it begins pulling itself forward as soon as you turn the power on, and when you're in "steam" mode (not auto mode), the steam doesn't fully deploy for about a minute. So, you're either holding it still and restraining it waiting for the steam to start, or you're going over your hard floors without the steam. The voice prompts. worked fine, but, as another reviewer wrote, too loud. Self-clean. nice feature, was a feature that pushed me over the edge to drop this kind of cash on this kind of product. It cleans itself on an included hard plastic storage mat. However, the instructions still recommending that you disassemble and separately clean the round brush, reservoirs, and brush housing.

An honest one-year-later review of the Tineco CORDED Wet Dry Vacuum Steam Mop
What we love: •We are SUPER THANKFUL we went for the corded version as it will not quit until we are done —unlike the cordless version that has a short run and a long recharge time (more on this later) •The cable is really, really long so we do not even need an extension chord get to all our rooms •It cleans much, much better than your hand-mop •It ABSOLUTELY obliterates all the robotic vacuums currently in the market —we own several Roborock and Narwal Flow robot vacuums and neither comes close to this machine •Even if your floors looks clean, one pass with this machine will make you realize just how much dirt is left behind even from wet-hand-mopping (we have white floors, so we can really see the difference when the sunlight hits the floor while we steam-mop) •It glides beautifully on both, hardwood floors and tiles •The steam feature is what makes this thing SHINE, literally —stick on messes are no match for the steam! •The steam is ready to use within seconds —and it is easy to know when it is ready thanks to the LED color ring •The clean and dirty tanks are extremely easy to remove •The voice prompts are very convenient •The self-cleaning option is a very welcome addition —but when we go a step above by removing everything and hand drying before putting it away •We recently had some renovations involving sheet-rock (if you have ever dealt with that, you know how hard it is to get rid of that dust from your floors) after manually sweeping, we still saw dust. We sent the robotic vacuums ...and still saw some dust. Then, we used this machine with the steaming on and IT DID THE MIRACLE —Yes, no more sheet-rock dust on our floors! What a prospect buyer should know: •It requires that you place it on its base in order to self-clean so make sure you place the base in a convenient location •When using the steam, it goes through the clean water quickly —so you will need to refill the clean water tank quite often, but that is super easy to do •The cable is built really tough so it will not break easily —unless you are super rough with it, of course •This will (unfortunately) not fit behind the toilet seat due to its dimensions •Since it cannot lay flat you cannot (sadly) get it under low-profile furniture •If you are on the fence between the corded version and the cordless version, we strongly advice that you go for the corded version —not only because you are not constricted on the time you will be able to run it, but mainly because (as per the owner's manual) in the cordless version the battery warranty is really, really short, so if the battery goes bad, so does your entire machine with no warranty from the manufacturer After one year of owning this machine it is still running as it did the first day. Yes, it was pricey when we bought it, but it was money well-spent. We cannot wait until (hopefully) robotic vacuums integrate steam so that we can (finally) go hands-free. In the meantime, this workhorse will do. Yes, there is a new version of this item out there, but we strongly suggest that, if you are on a budget, you purchase this vacuum now that it is on sale for it will really pay off.

Great wet vac at a good price. Good results and easy to manage.
This is the tool we had been missing! With lots of hardwood floors and 2 dogs we were constantly sweeping (fur and outdoor stuff) and mopping (paw prints). Cudos to Vacuum Wars for testing this out against dozens of other Aand recommending it over moser expensive options. It arrives in a single medium sized box and requires a few simple steps to assemble. Plug in the handle, remove some packing cardboard, then you’re ready to fill the water tank and get to work. It does require a bit of technique. I found that working backwards produced the best results, otherwise working forward resulted in my leaving footprints in the freshly washed floor. Key points about this that I really like: 1) doesn’t use any soap. Just add tap water to the tank, turn on and move the handle down and wait for the counter to get to 100. It takes about 1 min from cold to be working. 2) clean up afterward is really easy. Tip out the shockingly dirty water, rinse out the tank and pull off the plastic strainer to get rid of the larger chunks. Don’t forget to rinse the roller and roller cover. I found the the dog hair was sticking to these areas and would also get stuck in the connector between the roller and tank. That’s pretty easy to clean out though, although not really discussed in the short instructions. 3) comes with a second roller so you can swap out if you’re doing a marathon cleaning session 4) works ok on rough stone floors. We have slate tiles in the entry way and they are rough finished. Not ideal, but it works and is still better than a wet mop. The 1 thing I’m not thrilled with, but isn’t a deal breaker, is when you’re finished and turn off the unit, it tends to leave a dirty, wet streak where the roller contacts the floor. Easy to wipe with a paper towel, but just be aware this happens. Otherwise, it’s a great time saver and the floors are now consistently clean with not a lot of setup or clean up.

Great Vacuum but not for lazy people
I did a lot of research before biting the bullet and purchasing this vacuum, it was my first "expensive" machine and I wanted to make sure I was getting a good product for the price I was paying. The thing that sold me on this particular model was 1. the reviews, I read reviews on EVERYTHING because if the majority of people hate it, odds are so will I, 2. the steam function, if you don't already use a steam mop this might not be a determining factor for you, but I have small dogs who love to eat off the floor or lick the floor if they find crumbs and I don't want them to be licking chemicals, if it's not good for us it's not good for them, plus steam picks up a lot more dirt that a cold wet mop in my opinion, and 3. The cord, while annoying sometimes, means I have unlimited cleaning time, and for a slow cleaner, this is essential. The vacuum is great, and does everything it says it will do, so here are some Cons for those of you considering this type of vacuum: - the cord, unless you get the cordless and then if your house is big and not sure if you’ll be able to use it in one go - you have to clean it out every time, take out the water but also WASH IT bc otherwise it will smell like crap (literally) - you can’t vacuum/mop under the bed or couch, if you tip it over the water will leak - if the floor is really dirty and full of hair you’ll have to keep taking it back to the base for the self cleaning mode - you have to keep refilling clean water and emptying dirty water tank (I do this 2-3 times when I’m cleaning) - you will have to replace the brush every few months, & the filter - ALSO it doesn’t get corners very well I personally am ok with these annoying things because it cleans really well, my mom says the floor feels much cleaner and you can literally see how dirty your floor was. I would never use it for “a quick clean” unless it was a big food and liquid mess because it can be a hassel. But I use it every week for a deep clean and love it. Hope this helps!

Great Machine
So my 2nd Bissell Crosswave took its last breath recently, and I needed to find a replacement, because I live in the country and I have kids and pets. I have wood and laminate floors through my 1600 sq ft house, except in bedrooms. I have had it about 4 or 5 days now, and wow...My floors are squeaky clean! Even cleaner than my Bissell ever got them. Plus the Tineco on the steam setting gets stuck on messes up fairly easily. I do have to go over a few times if something is really stuck on there, but I haven't had to get down on my hands and knees and scrub, which is really nice! I use the auto mode for just going over everything else. My floors dry very quickly, too. The cord is nice and long and heavy duty, and I don't have to keep plugging it in another outlet. I can usually get all of my living room and hallway and part of my kitchen before having to plug in somewhere else. It is also pretty quiet when running it without the voice prompts. I also love that I don't have to buy cleaner solution for it, and they send an extra brush and filter. Nice! Things that are a little on the annoying side....I do wish the clean water tank was bigger. It goes through clean water while you're cleaning pretty quickly, especially when using the steam. However that is to be expected since it uses more water in steam mode. It does leave streaks on my floor in some spots that are a little on the uneven side, but they dry disappear pretty quickly, and that isn't a big bother for me. The voice prompts to self clean, empty the tank, add water can get kind of annoying, and seems that if you are cleaning a really messy floor, it will prompt you to do the self clean quite often. My floor got really dirty in the few days between my old machine not working and waiting for this one, and when I first used it, it prompted me to do the self clean literally every couple minutes after running it for about 5 minutes in one of the dirtiest spots on my floor. However, once it got the brush nice and clean, and I checked the dirt sensor, it ran fine for the rest of the room. I only had to run the self clean once after that. So that is a tad of an inconvenience, but also understand it helps keep the machine running properly. (You can turn the voice prompts off, which is what I did. Just be sure to watch the lights when you need to empty the tank and stuff) So, despite those minor issues, I'm very happy with it. It does a superb job cleaning the floors. So great job Tineco! 👏

The best steamer for floors.
I have Bamboo hard wood floors in my house. I also have pets. In the past I have purchase a few different models of hardwood floor steamers. Within a year and a half they just wear out or start to leak. When Covid, was around even most of the companies that make Floor Steam Machines were not in business or open and when you have a warranty there was no Customer Service to help me. We just tried different methods to clean the floors when they needed it done. I decided to spend some money and purchase a real good one. I read all the reviews on Amazon and purchased this Tineco Floor one S5 Steam Cleaner Wet Dry Vacuum All-in-one, for the house for my floors for Christmas. I also purchased spare parts and a warranty. This Steam machine is the BEST One I have ever used. It cleans the Hardwood Floors and the Tile floors and the grout leaving no streaks or marks and the Tiles grout becomes clan again. It uses water from the kitchen sink with no issues. It does have a motor that pulls it forward as you bring it back. When the machine heats up to 100 degrees the steam is is very visible and if if the machine finds an area that it electronically finds dirty the Dials Color goes from a Blue circle to a Red one, and if you keep it in that area a little longer it returns to Blue. It does not use much water and tells you when to empty the dirty water that it has collected out. It also vacuums as it cleans the floors. When you are finished the tank need a good cup size of water and you just have to put it on it's Stand and press a button on the top of the handle and it cleans and sanitizes it's self. You just remove the machines brush that is clean now and clean out anything left inside of the area. It comes with a spare brush and filter for you to put in place and the stand has distinct areas to place the used ones to dry without any messes or puddles on the floor. The Tank also separates debris it vacuumed up separate from the dirty water. This is The Best Machine I have ever used. It may seem a little pricey but the results speak for them itself. Do not waste your money on these other brand names this one leave your floors sanitized and with no streaks or marks anywhere on the Hard Wood Floor or the Tiles.
