Amazonconfirmed fit indicates this will not fit a 2006 Chevy Express 2500 4.8L. That is in correct. I just installed this in 2006 Chevy Express 2500 4.8L and it's a perfect fit.GM has consolidated parts that are exactly the same, but originally had different part numbers. Disregard the 5.3L as this will also fit the 4.8L

Idler pulley, easy to replace, looks and sounds great, no issues so far...AC DelcoA little pricey I feel for what it is....approx. $45, could have good with cheaper mfg, but, I figuredI'd stay with AC delco to be safer....
