Taylors of Harrogate Sour Cherry Herbal Tea Bags, 20ct (Pack of 1)

I'm so happy with this tea. I got a sampler as a gift a couple of years ago and have been obsessed with most of their fruit flavors since. The cherry is great hot or cold. Strong on hibiscus with a tart cherry finish.

A unusual flavor profile with anise/licorice being the most forward. The sour cherry is not as prominent, but it balances against the licorice in a most unexpected and pleasant way. This is an excellent afternoon tea for anyone looking for something a bit different.

After trying one box I just put it on Subscribe and Save! I'm a big fan of iced herbal teas, and this one was fantastic! I was excited to find a flavor variety that wasn't common, and after making my first pitcher I discovered there's absolutely nothing common about this tea. It is actually sour cherry, not something that just claims to be sour cherry that disappoints. It didn't. It was fresh tasting, and while Taylors was an unfamiliar brand, I'm so happy I took the chance and gave it a try. I loved it. As an herbal tea it's caffeine free so I can drink it, hot or cold, at any time of the day, and compared to the prices of quality tea at the grocery store, this can't be beat. My next box is due in 10 days. I just hope I can make it last that long.

I would not call it Sour Cherry, as there is no taste or even a hint of sour cherry or cherry at all. It does say it is infused with licorice, however the licorice is over powering everything else. The licorice smell is so strong even the box before opening smelled like licorice.

The scent of the tea is a little better than the flavor, but I still thought it was good. Taylors makes some great tea's. It's a bit of a cherry licorice flavor to it. I would recommend giving this tea a try. I do believe it is on the stronger side in terms of caffeination. But because of the fruity flavor, the caffeine sneaks up on you. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Very tasty. I sometimes mix with other brand of bulk Black Tea also mixed with similar ingredients.

Brews nicely but the overpowering flavor of licorice is not appealing to me, getting just a little cherry.

A very tasty tea! Normally, I am not much of a fan of fruit teas, they often have extra flavors (like cinnamon, etc) that interfere with & overwhelm the actual fruit flavor and large amounts of peel that make the flavor bitter, but I have enjoyed the Taylors fruit teas. I was sceptical about this one, as it contains licorice. I thought that the licorice would overwhelm the tea, but it only serves to enhance the cherry flavor. I really enjoyed this tea & have purchased it several times.

I was really excited to try this tea as I love cherry. When I received it, I ripped it open to try one. I was hit with an overwhelming smell of licorice (which I can't stand), the it was actually star anise, hibiscus, dandelion root and rosehip... I was not convinced. However I gave it a try and the tea smells so much nicer when it's brewed - can definitely smell the cherry. The taste was really nice, it was deep, fruit and flavourful!

Beautiful

Beautiful tea - sweet and sharp and sour. I don't usually like 'infusions' but these are superb - and make a great hot toddy with whisky, lemon, honey, chilli and ginger!

Beautiful teas, prompt delivery

I've bought sweet rhubarb, rose lemonade both of which I like a lot but I'm not too sure about this one. The dominant flavour is licquorice and it's too sweet, bubble gum comes to mind so I don't think I'll buy it again. More sour cherry would be better.
