Yes it is heavy but that’s what makes it great. More steel means it retains more heat and my pizza crusts have never had such great leoparding in my pathetic little oven. This thing is great Perfect size and I am super happy with it!!!

This is a must have for cooking home made pizza in a conventional oven. We were using a pizza stone that finally cracked after 20 years of use. This new pizza steel is heavy, but fits in our oven perfectly (GE Monogram). It works very well to heat of up the pizza crust evenly, and retains heat for mutiple pies. It is very easy to clean, with just a quick wipe off after using (and cooling off). We can even bake 2 smaller pies with this size steel, offering great baking capacity. Overall, this is a very good stell for the price.

Perfect...crispy bottom & crust ! If you love pizza making at home...you won't go wrong with this Pizza Steel. Very Heavy but you can leave it in the oven and won't have to remove it too much. Heat retention is excellent ....well worth the $

Works great but “I” should have bought the next size up. A small frozen pizza laps over the side

PERFECT... fits my oven great. About 1-2 inches clear of all the edges to allow heat to circulte. The thing is 30 pounds --- 30 POUNDS.... could not ne more pleased

Big and heavy, but extremely effective. Works great for roasting and baking to keep the oven temperature consistent. Can be heavy to pull out and clean. I done cook on it, I put my sheet or pan on top of it.

Big mistake! Much too heavy! Plan on leaving this steel plate in the oven PERMANENTLY. It is much too heavy to take it in and out of the oven. Otherwise, it works well. I gave it 3 stars because it is not very practical. A thinner plate would be better, unless weigth lifting is your goal!

This is the largest and *thickest* steel I could find on Amazon or anywhere. It's heavy. It's big. It's... Perfect. You can use it on the grill too, just need to preheat it a lot. I got this because of its massive size, and that's it. Would I get any other one? Nope. Get this one.

Mon mari c est régaler de la pizza que j ai faite avec la pierre a pizza.

Ottima pietra, si riscalda velocemente, utilizzata sui 330/350 gradi, asciuga e cuoce bene la base della pizza classica, recupera in fretta la temperatura.

Stone was delivered in a well packed box. Stone looks good and is thicker than my previous one. Good value as compared to competition.

This fits perfectly in our Breville Smart Oven Air. It creates a very nice even heat, perfect for baking projects and making excellent pizza with perfect crust! It's really hard to find a steel that fits a toaster oven, but this one is the perfect size.
