Great simple phone and Easy to use.
I needed a phone for a friend who is not technologically inclined. It has more features than most flip phones while still being easy to use. The phone worked as soon as I installed the SIM card - I did not have to set up anything. Audio quality while talking is 5 star. It is hearing aid compatible. The FM radio searches for channels with good reception. The camera is of low quality (2g) but sufficient to post on Facebook. It has a usable calculator and a quickly available flashlight. The only drawback is the instruction book which has very fine print. I did have some trouble turning on the cell phone. I called their customer service and received prompt and friendly service. The young man did not have an accent but was not completely fluent in English. We communicated by email and he solved my problem quickly. It did not have a diagram showing where the SIM card went. A very pleasant experience and I would buy another one if I needed one. I like it better than my smart phone but must use the smart phone for my job.

Setup not intuitive but afterwards was so-so.
I really give this phone 2 1/2 stars. I payed about $65. I bought this for my father who had been using another flip phone with prepaid service from ATT. This phone requires a micro-size SIM card or a nano-size can be used with the supplied adapter. This was not quite clear in the manual but I was able to figure it out. At an ATT store I was able to get a new SIM card for $5 and my dad was able to keep his current phone number. Changing settings and inputing text for adding contacts was not intuitive and I had to carefully read the manual. So I think this would probably not be easy for many seniors. But, once you figure that out and have the settings you want in place, then it is fairly easy to make phone calls from your contacts or by using the keypad. To answer calls, you can just flip open the phone without pressing the answer (green) button. My dad thought it was easy to make and answer phone calls. It can charge using a typical micro-USB cable/charger. The pictures from its 2 megapixel camera were rather poor. 2 month update - The external display stopped working. I have to downgrade my satisfaction with the phone to 1.5 stars due to poor quality.

Secure phone for my husband!
I’ve been searching for an easy to use, secure phone for my husband for months. He’s not very smart with technology and is very concerned about his privacy, especially after hearing about security breaches on iPhones and Androids. I finally found this phone and he loves it! Simple, fast, easy to use, and he’s able to connect with family and friends. Pros -An FM radio and flashlight are built into the phone -This phone is very durable. My husband accidentally dropped the phone about a week after we bought it and there wasn’t a single scratch on it. The phone still worked perfectly! -Can change the font size for easier reading -The call quality is amazing! My husband’s friends always mention the difference they can hear in the call quality on this phone -It’s a great size! My husband can easily put this phone in his pocket when we go for walks and it’s not too heavy Cons -The charging speed is a little slow. To make up for it, they included two batteries with the phone (so this isn’t really a con, ha!) Overall, this is a great phone and I would highly recommend it! I’m going to buy two more for my parents, I know they’ll love it! P.S. I’m leaving this review from my son’s account

Simple!!! Very good for making and receiving calls
So far so good. Got this for my elderly dad who has had several strokes and TIA's finished inputting all his contacts this morning. We have ATT and since they only offer 1 flip phone I had to start searching as we had tried that one last year and it was horrible. I was able to move some ringtones for him with the BT feature which was very easy. He is having a small problem with turning the ringer down because of how he holds the phone but hopefully he will get used to it. I also had to deactivate the SOS button because he called 911 with in moments of getting the phone set up. I like that the shortcut buttons can also be changed. One is set for the FM radio and the other for camera I think. After having to turn the radio off several times I started searching thru the settings and discovered where to change those. Would like it if the ringer volume could go higher. The small booklet that came with the phone has very small print and is hard to read even for me. Over all it is very simple and easy to work. I would recommend this to anyone who is tech challenged.

Disappointed things did not work out
I was very happy to make my original purchase of the Easyfone, when it arrived I liked the way it looked and fit in my hand 1st problem I ran across when setting it up was the instruction booklet which was printed in such small letters I had to use a magnifer glass to read the booklet, this phone is sold as a senior model and most older folks would have a hard time reading the booklet I would hope in the future the manufacturer would put something on YouTube or give a link to a full size document that would be easy to read 2nd problem was I could make calls out but could not receive any, the phone may have been in the silent mode, but with having such a hard time reading and understanding the manual I just had enough and sent it back. I was able to make contact with a manufacturing rep who did everything in his power to try to make sure I was happy with my purchase, after working with him I decided to order another phone. The new phone came, I was able to work through my problems of the first phone with the help of the rep and thought I would be happy, unfourtanitally the new phone could not keep a charge on the battery and I had to send it back again. I was very disappointed, I really liked my purchase but cannot see trying to keep a phone I cannot depend on The best part of deling with Easyfone was the factory rep, he really tried to do what he could to make me a happy buyer

Excellent phone for my elderly parents.
This phone is much easier for my parents to use than the one they got from T-mobile. We are VERY happy with the ease of use this phone provides, and it was much easier to add contacts and even photos so they can see who they’re calling easier. It is loud enough for them to hear it, and they can’t accidentally turn the volume down with the side buttons since the phone has to be open to use them. Likewise, there’s also a side button for a flashlight. They don’t use text or Internet, but the text feature is also pretty easy to use. It even comes with an optional lanyard that is helpful as they’re always misplacing their phone. I would highly recommend this product for anyone needing an easy-to-use basic phone. I don’t write reviews often unless I am exceptionally happy or exceptionally disappointed, so this one is worth the time. I received the phone quickly with a follow up from the seller to make sure everything was satisfactory. Five stars, two thumbs up :)

Don't waist you money.
This phone is garbage. Do not waist your money. This is the 2nd phone I bought from artfone or easyfone and they both lasted 1 month.. Phone stopped ringing . People could hear me but I couldn't hear them. Don't waist your money. Doesn't last.

BAD keypad
For a basic phone, it started out ok, but 3 months after I bought it, the keypad started going bad. It would skip past digits, e.g., I needed to text an "o". I'd push the 6, 3 times, but it would skip over the o and jump straight to 6, so I'd have to retext until I got the "o". And if I wasn't looking at the screen and didn't discover the error until I was finished typing, I'd have to go back. Once was ok, but this would happen 5 or 6 times in a short text. That, or I'd push and nothing would happen at all. VERY Frustrating. Now, I'm 15 months in and the ringer is gone. It still vibrates, but won't ring. I had trouble with my first Easyfone but they replaced it. I'm not even going to bother this time, I'm just going to get a different one.

Excellent Phone for Seniors - Excellent Service from FamFun Direct
I purchased 2 of these phones from FamFun Direct in the Easyphone Store for my parents. The ringer on one of the phones stopped working. I contacted the seller after the return period and they responded right away. I did a few tests on the phone and they sent me a replacement for free. I returned the original phone and they refunded the postage. The service was excellent. My parents love their phones. FamFun Direct is a great company to do business with!

Simple, pas cher, solide
La mise en service n'est pas très intuitive, il faut bien lire le manuel. Par contre une fois que c'est fait, ce téléphone est vraiment bien pensé pour les personnes handicapées, ou âgées, ou ayant juste du mal avec la technologie ! • Très solide, ne craint pas les chutes et même qu'on renverse un peu de liquide dessus (c'est du vécu -_-). • Très simple à mettre en charge sur sa base, il suffit de le poser (même pas besoin de clipser une prise dans un trou, pas de risque de casse). • SUPER SIMPLE à utiliser : bouton "téléphone vert" pour tout ce qui a un sens d'acceptation : prendre un appel entrant, valider une action, ouvrir un menu ; bouton "téléphone rouge" pour tout ce qui a un sens de refus : raccrocher, annuler, sortir d'un menu. • Les quatre gros boutons de contacts peuvent accueillir une photo (ou un bout de papier avec le nom du contact), c'est facile à personnaliser et à comprendre, facile d'appuyer dessus vu leur taille (un appui long = appeler ce contact). Ceci dit, pour avoir testé depuis quelques mois ce produit avec une personne âgée très très diminuée cognitivement, ce téléphone est à l'épreuve de presque tout mais pas infaillible... car ça dépend aussi de l'utilisateur. Dans mon cas, l'utilisatrice a toujours des problèmes pour comprendre quand/comment elle appelle des gens, ou quand/comment elle peut décrocher pour prendre un appel entrant ; et surtout elle finit toujours par modifier le numéro de tél des contacts en ajoutant plein de chiffres sans s'en rendre compte ! Je ne sais même pas comment elle fait car pour ça, il faut aller dans les menus (qui ne sont pas vraiment une ligne droite)... Bref. Ce téléphone est top car à l'épreuve de presque tout, mais le problème se situe parfois entre la chaise et l'écran. ^^;;;

Service Beyond all Expectaions
I bought this phone in June 2020 so it has been in use for 2 years and 8 months. My old friend mentioned in the first review (shown below) to whom I gave the phone managed to lose the back cover of his phone and a thorough search of his apartment did not reveal it. The phone actually worked perfectly without it but the insides were exposed and that is an invitation to disaster around this old chap. Through Amazon, I was able to contact the supplier and explain my predicament, offering to pay whatever they wanted to charge if they could send me a replacement cover. They offered to send me one from China at no charge. That was about 3 weeks ago and today the cover arrived as promised with no cost to me or my careless friend. This supplier deserves the highest marks for their excellent customer service long after the sale. Thanks guys! I got this phone for a technically challenged old friend with no patience and a tendency to lapse into Tourette's style language when frustrated. This is such an easy phone to get the hang of that he has only fallen into the syndrome twice since I introduced him to it and both times I have received immediate help from the supplier when I was unable to spot the problem on my own. And don't be deceived by the easy part. This phone seems capable of doing almost anything my really expensive smart phone will do if you are so inclined. It is a well thought out alternative for old folks who like to simply have a phone that is with them all the time and I highly recommend it for that purpose, but it will also serve well for someone who just wants a very capable phone that is small enough to fit into any pocket. I particularly like the charging station idea for people whose fingers are no longer supple enough to fuss with a mini usb connector.
