I have tried not using grips because I want to improve my grip strength but my hands sometimes fatigue before my back or legs do. So, I got the wraps, and those were a gigantic pain in the rear. Doing the first hand was fine but unless you have been using wraps for years, getting that second hand in correctly was sometimes a struggle. So I ditched those and got hooks which solved the struggle to get them on quickly and correctly but completely took away any grip strength benefit due to the fact that since it’s a hook with a wrist strap, you really can’t grip the bar yourself bc the hooks are in the way. These solve all those problems. If I want to grip the bar completely myself, I can do so. If I want some grip help, I can use the wrap between the bar and my hand. If I want to lock it in for a heavy lift, the wrap goes around the bar and back into my hand. It takes literally 2 seconds. For me a big bonus was they can be used in place of gloves to protect your hands (using the first wrap option mentioned above), and they are way cooler than regular gloves bc they do not cover the backs of your hands. The only thing I can’t attest to yet is durability bc I have not had them very long. But if they hold up well, this product is a must have for any gym rat.

These are comfortable and durable for the cost. I really like the way that the grip is on these pads. Being a avid weightlifter I love to go up in weight, but I’ve found that my grip is what is withholding me from going up. Now that I have bought these pads my weight has gone up significantly, because it isn’t the grip withholding me

The media could not be loaded.  The Velcro and padding is sturdy and comfortable but as shown in the video some of the fabric has come off from the padding which doesn’t affect the comfort or functionality of the pads so it’s not really a big deal. Overall great lifting straps for the price!

These have helped so much for grip while doing back workouts. I have even used it to grip barbells when doing bench presses, when I feel like my hands slip a little.The only thing that could be better is the material that is on the padding. Mine is peeling off, but it doesn't bother me at all. See the photo.For the money, I would get these. I haven't tried the versa grips, but from what I can tell from others using those grips, it functions the exact same way.

The padding for the wrist is too stiff and uncomfortable overall compared to other grips I've used.Doesn't hold when hands get sweaty cause of the rubber part, and because of how stiff it is, its qkward to get a grip on a bar if you plan on doing deadlifts, do yourself a favor and find some leather grips with better padding.

It's great to have those to replace the regular gloves!

I decided to order these gloves given the good price point and I can choose my size, I have small wrists and didn't want a one size fits all. Quality seems good. I was able to use them on back day, I've been struggling with grip strength lately on certain exercises and these gloves really made a big difference in what I could lift. I would recommend these gloves to anyone who needs a little extra grip.

These are great for me, as my grip sometimes gives out before my strength. I don't ever plan on competing, so I don't feel the need to grip train for its own sake. I didn't want to spend the money on the well-known brand, not knowing if I would like them or not, so I'm pleased with the value received. It took a while to get used to the bar not being in the middle of my palm, but once I did, it's very comfortable. I'm a 5'1" woman, and the size small fits well.
