Absolutely love these running boards. I bought them for my wife's new 2017 Toyota 4Runner SR5. I got worried when I opened up the packaging, took a look at the instructions and it said something like "fits 4Runner from 2012-2014," but I'm expecting that's because they haven't updated the installation instructions document in a while. They fit just fine!I wound up choosing to install them during insanely cold weather so my wife didn't have to live without them any longer, and because of the freezing temperatures it probably doubled my installation time (to about 2 hours), but the installation itself is pretty straightforward: just 3 brackets that go on either side of the car, into holes that had factory-installed bolts to essentially "plug" the holes that these bolt into.The only tricky part I dealt with during installation was just the idea of placing the boards on top of the brackets that get installed first, and moving the boards around until they're positioned to your liking and securing them (and making sure it's mostly symmetrical with the opposite side once that's been done). That only needs to happen because these are universal running boards that come with vehicle-specific brackets.

Sturdy, easy to install and much easier on my knees. We are getting on an years and my wife is not very tall, so she kept making me get down in my hands and knees next to our 4Runner so she could climb into it. I put these great running boards on and now I can open her door and stand tall while she uses them to climb in! We love them and they look sharp! (And my pants stay cleaner.)

Took me less than an hour to do by myself. Very sturdy, very easy install. Saved over $125 and instead of a plastic runner this is to be high quality Aircraft Aluminum. Put this on my 2019 Toyota 4Runner SR5. looks good if I do say so myself.If it fits your vehicle I strongly Rec this one. Update 12/28/21, still going strong. No chipping, no peeling and as sturdy as the day I put it on. Still recommend

Pretty solid boards. Look good. They should almost be an inch or two longer. Spacing was difficult to decide and could look better if they filled wheel to wheel a bit better.

Good running boards, came with everything needed for install which was breeze with 2 folks (could be done with one person easily just more time). Quality is good for the price but wouldn’t be a problem if they were of slightly heavier gauge.

It's a okay product, only problem is that it isnt long enough. If you want the rear passengers to have a stable putting to get on and off, you have to put it back enough that the raised border doesnt affect their footing. Doing this though, makes it look awkard at the front area where it looks too short. If you center it, the rear passenger may step on the raised edge/end and that just seems dangerous imo. When adjusting position, one of the screws to secure the running board to the bracket broke, feels like they use cheap bolts.

Easy to install. I did it at night with a flash light in an hour. Looks like OEM equipment. Clean plain look. Fits my 2018 SR5 4 runner perfectly. I weigh 250 lbs and it flex’s slightly. No problems at all after 2 months. My wife loves this running board.
