Lion Brand Yarn, Coboo Cotton Blend Crochet Yarn, Admiral, Blue, 1 Pack

Used to make a shirt, my first crochet project! Turned out great.the yarn is soft and a lil smooth, fairly easy to use and fix mistakes (important for beginners like me!). The color is as shown and looks great!

I bought this yarn (silver) to knit Stephanie Lau’s uptown cardigan. I absolutely love the silver colour because it matches literally everything I wear. The colour is so beautiful and versatile. The yarn is stunning in garter stitch. Feels very soft to wear and it’s warm too. It’s my favourite sweater now and I wear it lots. It’s softness would be a perfect choice for anyone allergic to itchy yarn or for knitting anything for a baby. Just google uptown cardigan and you can get the pattern for free. Downside of the yarn is that it does split if you aren’t careful. But after knitting with the yarn - it’s doesn’t bother me as much as I’m the beginning and doesn’t happen so often. I love the yarn so much that I’ve purchased more in other colors….taupe and denim. It’s a beautiful yarn and it’s really good value for money. The more I knit with this yarn the more I love it. Hope they will bring out more colors in the future.

I do like it. Color is a lovely coral-y orange. Beautiful. It also makes for a soft garment. Until you get used to it, though, maybe use wood needles? Very slippery. It WILL fall off your metal needles. It also will split. But just be careful and get used to it, and it will be okay in the end. Frogs really easily - some might say TOO easily... but tomato, tomahto.

I really like this Lion Brand Coboo yarn in Vanilla Blossom! I originally purchased my first skein from the Lion Brand website and then ordered the rest I needed here on Amazon to finish my project. The color is absolutely beautiful in person a soft, creamy Vanilla Blossom shade that works really I’m using a 3.5 mm hook as the yarn is thin, despite being thin the yarn makes beautiful petals for my daisy granny square and the flower part works up speedily and I’m able to speed through the flower part. It’s a good value for the amount you get, and I appreciate that it feels comfortable to work with most of the time you will need lots of this yarn and it’s small . I did notice dye lots can different , but luckily mine still blended well enough that I can’t really tell the difference. I would definitely recommend buying a bit more than you think you’ll need at once, just in case dye lots don’t match perfectly. The biggest downside is that this yarn does split fairly easily while working with it, which can be a little frustrating compared to other Lion Brand yarns. Once you adjust your tension and get used to it, it’s manageable, but it’s definitely something to be aware of. Overall, still a lovely yarn with a gorgeous color and great softness, but the splitting keeps it from being perfect for me.

This is beautiful yarn. You have to get used to working with it because it will split on you, but I believe it’s because of the cotton in the thread otherwise it is great.

This yarn so so nice and soft but I am having a problem with the yarn splitting. It has really slowed down me down. I did read about splitting yarn and they gave me some ideas that are helping. So if you can deal with the splitting of the yarn, the finished product feels and looks great.

I recently purchased this coboo yarn in bayberry for a crochet wrap that will be a Christmas present. This is my first time using this yarn and, while I love it, I am frustrated at the number of knots and frayed ends in each skein. I am using two skeins at a time, and have found 11 factory knots in the first two skeins so far. There were sections where I was having to cut out factory knots every few feet. Due to this issue my project now has extra knots throughout this section making it look less clean. I would love to keep working with this yarn as the colors are beautiful and it is truly lovely to crochet with, but the excessive level of factory knots makes it less appealing. I tried to report issue this through Amazon, but was only offered a return. I’ve already used two skeins and have cut out and retied the factory knots so do not feel comfortable returning these skeins. Updated: The first two skeins I used may have been a fluke, I am now mostly through another two skeins and they have had no factory knots. This yarn is truly a joy to work with when not having to undo factory knots. Updated review from 3 starts to 5 stars.

Fantastic yarn, drapes well, feels soft agains your skin perfect for garments, a little on the expensive side to what I like but well worth it.

Muy buen hilo para tejer, con una sola madeja hice un sombrero, el color es tal cual se muestra en la fotografía, sin duda volvería a comprar hilo de esta marca para tejer.
