Its a good film, not sure how comic
Its a lovely film - but I'm not sure billing it as a comedy fits it.It has a nice story, its well crafted, with good acting. There are comic bits, but to me its not an out and out comedy.

Lost in translation?
I'm not sure about this movie, it surely had a good point of view, but the actual movie is just average. Good sentiments, probably I could not enjoy it, because I could not really get it the background.

A tale of two restaurants
Two brothers are rival restaurant owners, one cooks perfect starters, the other perfect main courses. They haven't spoken for over ten yeqrs, but the daughter of the older brother is getting married, and wants to bring them together again. This is quite a pleasant film, but although billed as a comedy, it is mostly not very funny, more serious really. Lots and lots of delicious food, so don't watch it if you are hungry.

Brilliant movie for any one to understand some of the intricate workings of Indian families with of course the ever present food at the heart of any family gatherings. It's good to be reminded of what is really important in family bonds.

I enjoyed it!
Entertaining and funny. A great, feel good family film. Gave it 4* because I would have rather much liked to have seen the wedding as part of the film.
