Mastering Astral Projection
While I am a HARD skeptic about anything spiritual. I would almost call myself agnostic in my beliefs. I am starting to believe, while along side this book I am studying multiple subjects on religion and spiritual "things". I am currently on day 55 of this book and have really hit my limits and pushed my beliefs while reading/doing these practices. So heres my full review get ready its long: I don't like the size of this book it seems long and lengthy (definitely in the start)! Multiple stages to learning these techniques can seem worthless and make it seem like it will be impossible to remember while, "actually" practicing them (with your eyes closed and in a trace-like state). I don't like how it makes you read affirmations nightly and morning, to try and program your subconsciousness. let me tell you work work WORK! sometimes I fall asleep while entering into the trance and REDO the day after 30 minutes of practicing the day assigned, then redo following day blah. The days start around 15-20 minutes and head upwards to 45 minutes to an hour. So do the math easily 35 minutes average times 90 days. You'll put in your fair share of time and effort.... But after the day pass you remember these easliy. Although, while forcing myself clean the basement room full of trash to turn it into my mediation room had to get away from the wife dog and road traffic, moved my whole frame and bed downstairs and just a lamp in the room now. I love it, my room of nothing, ahhhh yaaaaa. I have noticed a little resistance with my wife in regards to me learning this. She seems to be interested but would dare try to even try anything. I find myself enjoying mediating and relaxing in my own room. I've learned that our western culture has us pre-programmed to constantly think, "go go go go" or have multiple things going on at once,Facebook, pintrest, youtube, texting, ect. Studies have shown the benefits of mediation and just slowing down, and I am also learning them first hand. I've learned to become a more mindful person to myself and others, it reflects on my attitude and diet. This book has taught me "astral downloading" of dreams and how to strengthen these skills. Which sometimes our dreams or NDE make the biggest influences on our lives. I dream almost every night now. sometimes three times, not lucid all but dreaming and remembering, at least dream every other night. I have learned because of my belief systems I find myself stuck in my body and scared as they talk about around week 3-4. When I feel the heart, full body stuff and feel the weightlessness , i get scared of the unknown and everything else they talks about..... Feeling the double i come back and rip myself back in... Only in time i will get it! Astral noise of people talking and stray noises, these are harmless but still confront you with fear. I HAVE NOT OBEd although open my astral eyes a few times and projected my double once though not leet my body fully and not been able to open my eyes. The weightless-ness... the fear... the darkness, its all there and harmless but is still unusual and foreign. I have a bike heart beat monitor that i have worn during my practices and your heart charka will race with vibrations and pulsing right before the obe. Remember this is your energy center not your heart. Tried out recording my practice with my gear on. ends up they were right, pulse never raised. The vibrations are slightly pleasurable, and you can make it if you want...which they talk shortly about not recommended while practicing unless you make time for that, and become INTENSE! calm down now its not recommend but hey we all experiment around cough cough. Love doing my feet. Anyways i'm done ranting and raving. I love this book but its changing my beliefs and my life. trust me one step at a time, even one obe in the end is still a obe. its like trying to get a women/man in bed right? 90 days of no's...... and 1 yes.... is still a yes! Feel free to comment or ask more questions. I'm going to do my day now! Hope I was more helpful that some of the other reviews.

A Very Impressive Book
I've had a couple of OBE's before but never consistently and never with any real knowledge of how to improve beyond just watching really introductory YouTube videos. This is definitely an area where 'more is more' and with this book you have likely more than you'd ever need, to go literally as deep into OBE's as you want. There is more information than I knew even existed about having OBE's and plenty of other resources listed as well. (Early on Robert actually recommends picking up one of these listed books to prevent enthusiasm for OBE's to result in skipping ahead in this book or going too fast, which can cause big problems. I personally loved this mini homework assignment, and it's a great example of some of the practicality here, giving very excited students a great outlet for their enthusiasm). This book is also impeccable because of the work that went into making all of its information NOT overwhelming with help from Brian Mercer. There is such a focus in this book at going at your own pace, doing a little more each day, 'swimming out further', until one day you notice you've arrived at a very different place with your OBE's (and as a result also with your psychic and energy work abilities) without ever noticing you left the shore. That fear of going into something new has been taken away, and what's more the book is with you with tips every step of the way. By including Brian Mercer's experiences you also get tips and ideas from someone who may be dealing with some of the same stumbling blocks you are on a given day. There's this master/student dynamic between Brian and Robert which works beautifully. It adds a whole other dimension to the work. And because I like to save the best for last, it is not only the amount of information, the accessibility of how its laid out, and the included conversations between master/student but also the brilliance of Robert Bruce himself that make this book a 10/10. This is someone who, in my opinion, perfectly balances theory and application. He is very clear about his desire to help you actually experience OBE's, and you know in your gut that he's one of the most experienced people with OBE's on the planet, you know his advice really means something. But despite being such an accomplished expert in this field, he is still close to the earth, humble, and extremely kind. This comes through in his interviews, in his YouTube videos, and in his writing. And that is why this book never comes across as an expert talking down to you, it always feels like two helpful friends taking a fun journey with you together. This book has already helped take me to places I forgot existed, and some I could have never even imagined, and I will always be extremely grateful for the work that went into it.

My First OBE
My First OBE I was on Day 53 of this book.... 9 September 2013 at 15:21 It was about 8:30 pm on June 8th 2012, when I laid down for a session of meditation. I had been meditating for about 9 months at this point. Not as much as I wanted too though. On this night I was well rested and not fatigued. I was laying on my back with my arms at my side. I began my normal routine of trying to “shut down” my thoughts. Focusing on different things, my breathing, the sensation of my toes, the air as it passes over my lips and out my nose. I was having a good session this night. I was pleased with how easily I was able to quiet my mind. It doesn’t always come easy. Actually it usually doesn’t come easy. I decided to play with my “energy aura”. Trying to find the smallest point of “energy” in my body. How small I could imagine it. How infinitely small I could focus that energy. This point was centered in my chest. Decided to go the opposite way too. How large must my energy extend past my body. My heat, my frequency, my brain waves. I juggled these two back and forth. How small, how large. At one point I thought I could fill the entire universe with my energy. And another, like I vanished into nothingness. Sometime in between this “juggling” I started to feel this “vibration”. To this day I wish I had a camera in the room. To me it was like I was a “tuning fork”. Hard to explain. Not sure if the vibration was internal, or something that could have been observed from the outside. All I know is that I WAS vibrating. This really freaked me out. Almost to the point that it was about to break my meditative state. So I went back to focusing on my energy, keeping my mind as blank as possible. The vibration just got more and more intense. Suddenly, I “popped” out of my body. Well, I popped, then hovered just above my body. The vibration stopped immediately. The exhilaration was almost too much. I tried to stay focused, and just take everything in. I started to examine my surrounding and myself. The room was “hazy, ethereal”. My body was not really a body anymore. I was this pale white light. With 5 appendages. Not arms/legs/head really, more of a “starfish” type thing. I had these arms, but they tapered off and never formed any hands. Same thing for my legs. My “head” was just a fuzzy white light as well. With no real features too it. I could feel everything in the room. Anything I focused on, and it felt like I knew the entire makeup and lifespan of the object. I turned my attention back on my “astral self”. I was still hovering just above my body. I started to really analyze my “construction” in this form. That is when I realized something…. I was not of any gender. I wasn’t male or female. I just was. I had no genitalia at all. No penis, no vagina. No nothing. Well, this set my mind racing. “Would I still be attracted to women”. “Would I still want sex with my wife”. “What does this mean?” “I cant believe it, I JUST AM”! Well this line of thought was enough to SLAM me back into my body. It was a sudden and shocking experience to suddenly be thrust back into your body. The realization of years of research proven to me. Everything I thought I had found out after researching was pretty accurate. We are just driving these bodies around. They are not us. We are infinite. We chose to live this life. We chose everything about this life. We lived before this life. We will live after this life. Unlimited choices, unlimited free will. Next time I could come back as the Sun, The moon, an Ant, my mother. Anything that I can imagine! Consciousness is the base of all being. All reality. You are just a fragmented part of the “Universal Consciousness” (ie. “God”)., only fragmented by your body. We chose this body to experience this separateness. It is a unique experience that all beings want to have a few times. Separate from the whole, but only in perception. Still connected to the “source” but our bodies are very limited. June 8, 2012

This is the book that works for me
I bought this book about a month ago and I am on Day 27 of the 90 Day guide (though, I have gone against the advice in the book and read ahead a little since I already have experience with meditation and a few OBEs). I have not had a full-fledged OBE yet but I have gotten very, very close. I had a partial separation about 4 days ago and I think I had exit symptoms while in a light trance this morning. About a year ago, I became interested in inducing an OBE and I bought a small pile of books on the subject. After 5 -6 weeks, I was able to have three OBEs in a 3 week period. The techniques I tried were visualization prior to sleep and affirmations. I also meditated a lot but nothing came of it directly (maybe it helped me indirectly, I don't know). I was excited but then the OBEs just dried up. I kept trying for another 2 months or so but didn't have any success. At that point, I pretty much gave up until I bought this book. I felt like I was at the mercy of something beyond my control. I could not consciously induce an OBE so I was stuck having to wait for one to happen during sleep. It seemed like my sub-conscious was not co-operating with me. One of the books that I did buy last year was Robert Bruce's "Astral Dynamics". There is a lot of good information in that book but it is not organized in such a way that a beginner will be able to correctly absorb it all. I remember rushing through it, completely ignoring the energy work and only focusing on the other material but not in a thorough way. Needless to say, I was not able to get much help from it. The "Mastering Astral Projection" book takes the contents of "Astral Dynamics" (as well as some additional material) and breaks it up into a 90 Day program so that you are forced to learn everything and learn it thoroughly. All you need is a little bit of free time each day and the will power to actually follow the program and keep following it. If you do, you will be satisfied with the results. I am now finally able to consciously induce a meditative trance (mind awake, body asleep) state using this program and I have learned the energy work which is extremely important (meaning that I am not sure I would have done this well without it..it seems to help with inducing altered states like trance). I read some other reviews which complained about the length of the book and said things like "it's too complicated", etc. It is not too long OR too complicated if you absorb it over a period of 90 Days. It is true that some people can have OBEs without much practice or training. But I am not one of those people. If you are like me and you have difficulty getting Out Of Body, I think this book will help you if you stick with it. Lastly, I just want to add that I recently re-read portions of "Astral Dynamics" today and many of the techniques (like the rope technique) make sense and actually seem to work because I actually did all the prep work this time!!

May work for some, just not for me...
It's tough to write a review for something that may not be the author's fault if you didn't achieve the desired results. However, I followed the procedure to the extreme. I even created a video blog about the experience on youtube because I was so involved in "mastering" this art. The book is pretty well written and laid out. It's easy to follow it day by day although you should be ready for repetition. I know from reading the astral dynamics forum that some people had experiences more interesting than mine. I would have to say tho, that after doing this whole program and still not having an astral projection or OBE, I was pretty frustrated. I spend as much as 2.5 hours a day working on this stuff and I hardly got anywhere. I posted to the forum only to find out that I'm not the typical case that "feels" vibrations of the exit experience. Great! What now? So, I'm not the typical case. They couldn't offer me any advice. So, I guess the procedure can work if you meet a specific demographic. And for the rest of us, you might try Lucidology with Nicholas Newport. That's what I'm trying now and vlogging the experience in comparison to MAP from my youtube channel. I think there are some valuable insights to learn from MAP, and if you're the type of person that needs a day by day structured format, this might be for you; all 90 days. However, if you want to know more about Robert Bruce's experiences and approach, just get the latest edition of Astral Dynamics. The first edition is WAY too dense. Or... you could try out the William Buhlman and Robert Monroe material. I kind of prefer Robert Bruce tho. He's very down to earth. The extra material on the CD isn't explained so I couldn't tell you why they added most of it. The BrainWave generator was written so long ago that the application no longer works on modern Windows machines. However, because I'm a bit of a techophile, I was able to get it to work. If you look for earthcub on youtube, you'll find my vlog and one of the episode descriptions of the 90 I created has the download link to the workable version that you can get to work on modern versions of Windows. There's also a nicely recorded hypnosis induction from one of the homework assignments that they don't give you on the disk that I felt was valuable. It did help me generate some interesting dreams. Oh... there's also a nice hypnotic induction that I created to help you recall your astral projections, kind of like recalling your dreams. The book is really big on dream recall although I already have amazing dream recall so I couldn't tell you whether it helps in that regard.

Awesome Book, very easy to succeed!
This book was by far the easiest to understand, and most well written treatise on the subject of astral projection I have read thus far. It lays out it's information in an easy to follow, well structured way, as to not overwhelm the reader, whilst conveying the necessary and pertinent information clearly and effectively. It is well deserving of it's many 5-star reviews; and as for it's 1-star reviews, I feel I must shed some light on this matter. Many of them (the negative reviews that is) are written by the same person; a rival "author" who goes by Sapphire. This individual is infamous on Amazon for writing all of his own reviews, as well as writing negative reviews for competing books. He has many fake identities which he uses on Amazon, including: "A. reader"/"Astral Reader", "Mark", "William Broderick", and about 30 others. He has very poor understanding of English grammar and syntax, which is painfully obvious in many of the self-written 'reviews' for his books, as well as in his books themselves. As some of us began to catch on to the fact that most of his reviews were written by the same person, he changed his tactics to include blatant plagiarism; where he would simply cut and paste from other authors' reviews to hide his terrible grammatical skills. I verified this treachery by simply Googling a line from one of his grammatically correct reviews; and to my surprise, it came from another review right here on Amazon, for a book on astral projection no less! Sapphire not only writes only 5-star reviews for himself, but he deletes any review which threatens to either A) expose his terrible 'books' for what they are; or B) expose his dishonest reviewing tactics. I am not the only person to realize this however, and if you desire proof, you can view the Amazon product forum discussions for "Successful Astral Projection to the Space and Universe", by Sapphire. Click on "See all discussions", and there you will see a hilarious back-and-forth between the actual readers and some of Sapphire's fake identities. Thankfully, Sapphire cannot delete forum discussions as easily as he can delete bad reviews! Apparently Amazon has no interest in stopping this conman's dishonest and immoral activities, however, when I see that a great book like "Mastering Astral Projection" is getting an increasingly poorer rating; and I know that this is mainly because of an endless barrage by some jerk's fake reviews; I can't help but try to do something. Robert Bruce is an outstanding author, as demonstrated in "Mastering Astral Projection" as well as his previous book, "Astral Dynamics". I guarantee that if you read either one, you will not be disappointed.

Astral Projected for the First Time Just Last Night
This is the first time I’ve felt like I should review a product on Amazon, but after genuinely experiencing something that I wasn’t even 100% sure existed, I knew I had to write this. To the skeptics out there, this actually works. This manual explains to you what Astral Projection is while teaching you how to achieve it (which makes it all the better). Astral Projection isn’t as questionable as some would make it out to be, and when the book explains the process to you, it makes a lot of sense. Regardless, it worked for me. I’m only on Week 5, but for a while I've been a big meditator which I believe likely sped up my process by a good deal. My projection wasn’t very long because my mind was pretty active, but I certainly left my body. (that experience was probably my favorite part) I didn’t think to look at my physical body, which is actually a good thing because doing so can be a little frightening for some, but I DID look at myself in the mirror. I was a faded version of myself with eyes sort of glazed over in a fog. It might sound creepy but it wasn't, or at least not for me. What I really noticed is my outfit. It was the exact one I had gone to bed with, which was wild because it was an outfit I had only ever worn to bed that very night. If the experience were a dream, I’d almost certainly be wearing my usual pajamas, but this wasn’t a dream. After that I floated out to one of the room’s in my house, and then out the window. Around this point, I started to have too many thoughts as the world around me started to distort and with that I snapped back to my body. It was an amazing experience, I’ll never forget it, and I’ll certainly continue to work through this manual. I also wanted to note that some people don’t see their astral body in the same way as others. Most people see a very faded version of themselves, one that’s kind of hazy, like an old memory. Some people see themselves as other people, or as objects of light. Your experience might not be exactly the same as others, and that’s fine, it’s the experience that matters.

Great book but my Mcafee antivirus claims the CD included has a computer virus
Its a very well written book, but when I tried to install the brainwave software Mcafee antivirus wouldn't allow it to run or install advising that it was infected with a computer virus. I'm not sure whether the software has a computer virus in it or what it does or if its a false positive but it was pretty annoying having that happen.

Best source I have found so far for understanding the ...
Best source I have found so far for understanding the mechanism and method of astral projection. This takes commitment to learn, expect to spend some time on this. What I really like about Robert Bruce is that he uses experiences from many different people, years of research and his own experiences to create a program that anyone with dedication can learn. It is important to do the program as exactly as he teaches it as possible, don't leave out an exercise because it seems unimportant or you just don't like doing it, every exercise is important.
