What is the physical dimensions of the caliper? The measurement given in the advert 5*5*24 inches seems large for a caliper designed for 6 inch disk

Yupp, I mounted it on a minibike, it has a six inch chain gear that I sandwiched in the free zone( where there is no contact with the chain),hope this answers your concerns.
