18.5" model -- Nice portable display option for the Steam Deck and gaming handhelds in general. Just be aware the touch screen functionality is NOT compatible with consoles including the PS5, Switch, Xbox, and Deck. Connecting to a Huawei, Samsung, or Windows device should provide full touch capabilities though. I was impressed with how well Samsung DeX worked connecting a Galaxy S22 via USB-C. Makes a great alternative to view photos and videos. TradingView also worked well with DeX if you want to manage trading with a nice big touch screen. Bit reflective, but not noticeable when multimedia is displayed. The glossy touch panel also helps colors pop. Out of the box it was an excellent experience and never had to go into any display options to tweak anything, but brightness can be controlled if desired. Upon connecting the Steam Deck, it immediately recognized 1080p/120hz which was a nice surprise. Simple USB-C to USB-C connection and you're good to go! Steam Deck can drive many games on this display's native 1080p/120hz refresh and when Steam Deck 2 arrives it will REALLY make an exceptional pairing as even high fidelity titles will be able to make use of the resolution and refresh rate. Lo-fi fast paced titles like Hades are tremendously better on this display. Not just the larger size, but I found 60hz on the Deck uncomfortable to my eyes with Hades where jumping to 120hz made it much more comfortable and enjoyable. Same with Dead Cells and similar titles. I can also see myself mounting this over a bed or inside a vehicle for long trips. Makes a comfortable way to game with a controller with a much better experience than looking down at a small display. This is also a good option for adding a secondary display to your Windows machine as well. Versatile and overall recommended!

I'm very pleased this this purchase. I'm using it with a 15.6 inch HP Envy 360 touchscreen laptop. Setup was quick and easy. I have a docking station/stand coming. I got out a keyboard I've had for awhile to use with this monitor. It's almost like having another computer. I really like the size. Not small at all and not too big. Right now my vision is blurry and slightly out of focus, but this monitor is helping me be able to read. The touchscreen is awesome. It has a 120hz refresh rate and a 1080p resolution and has hdr. I'm looking forward to seeing it after I 'm finished with eye surgery and have new glasses. I'll fall in love with it all over again for better reasons. Edit: I got my Mukiya Laptop Docking Station/Stand. A simple functional design. I realized I couldn't hook it up the way I'd planned, but I got it figured out. And maybe everyone else knows, except for me... swiping using 2 fingers moves what I'm watching forward/backward 10 seconds. I'm so glad I accidently discovered this. It's very handy while watching MHZ. Their gui doesn't give this ability. The English translation sometimes goes by too fast to read it all. Finally a welcome solution.

This was working great with my PS5 as a portable gaming unit I could use around the houes but not take up the entire living room. The best things about it are: 1. The size of the screen is great 2. Super fast response times, really good for gaming that requires as little lag as possible. 3. Pretty good color in my opinion Not so great: 1. I think the cover/stand could be better. It works but isn't the most elegent and I was confused what side was intended to be used "inside vs. outside". I found that the "smooter" side was intended to be used outsize while the more "rubbery" side is for inside and provides traction for the monitor to stand in place. 2. The mini-hdmi stopped working one day after a trip and I needed to contact support to get it replaced. They were very supportive and quick to respond, but I am waiting for my replacement. I will update this review once I get a replacement. Update: This company was very responsive and was patient with me while traveling over the holidays to get me a replacement unit since the mini hdmi on the original stopped. It’s been working great and I’m very satisfied with both the monitor and the company. Thanks!

I got this monitor for a very niche gaming purpose and also to have the touchscreen functionality when I don't want to have more peripherals along with me. I seem to keep wanting a slightly larger portable monitor, as I've also gotten another smaller one for the same purpose. The monitor was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. As for the niche gaming purpose I have this monitor for, it has worked great so far. No complaints. It is 120hz, the color looks great (I'm not 100% sure the color accuracy, but I cannot complain), and the contrast seems on point. I even played a bit of my PS5 on here just for fun (and to see if it could power the monitor itself via the front panel Type-C, it can!) and it looks great. Update: I've used the touchscreen plenty now and it has worked great. It may need calibration depending on what you are using it with, so make sure to do that in Windows. not sure for other platforms as I've only used it with Windows so far. Included are a ton of cables, such as the required HDMI to Mini HDMI for the Mini HDMI port the monitor has. There are three total ports, the Mini HDMI, and two Type-C. On the other side is a single button as well as a little flick-styled button for navigating monitor menus. The other cables included are two Type-C to Type-C as well as a USB to Type-C. There's also a wall outlet that takes Type-C for powering the monitor. As a final treat, they included four M4, 4mm VESA mount screws, if you decide to mount the monitor. The cover is also very nice and comes attached to the monitor. You can easily unscrew it from the monitor if you prefer not to have it, but it doubles as a quick stand, so I prefer to keep it on. Especially since I take this with me with my laptop. The brightness setting is one of the only cons I've seen, and this is only when not using HDR. When HDR is off, if you don't set the monitor to either FPS or RTS 'game mode', the brightness is just a smidge darker than I'd prefer. Once you set it to one of the above mentioned 'game modes' it brightens up to a perfect brightness. I didn't buy this monitor for the speakers, but they work well. If you plan on streaming or gaming, the speakers will do just fine. However, if you like your volume loud, then you might want to add some speakers to the setup. For a portable monitor with these specs, it is a little expensive, however I do really like it and it has been nothing but great so far. If I run into any issues I will try to update this review!

The screen size is great and quality is way greater than other monitors in this size and price. I use it on my main pc and my laptop when I am traveling. Initially, I purchased the EVICIV 15.6" Portable Touchscreen Monitor (FHD 1080P, IPS, 10-Point Touch, with Built-in Speakers) to pair with my Raspberry Pi 5 in a HAM Radio Solar Generator Go Box (summer field day is just around the corner). However, after unboxing and setting it up, I was so impressed that I decided to use it as a secondary desktop display instead. The monitor arrived promptly and securely packaged, and setup was an absolute breeze. The touchscreen is highly responsive, the image quality is crisp and vibrant, and I really appreciated that all the necessary cables were included, a thoughtful detail that made the experience seamless. There is honestly nothing I would change about this monitor. It performs flawlessly and has exceeded my expectations in every way. I’m already considering purchasing a second one to replace my primary monitor, and I still need a Go Box monitor (3rd LOL). Highly recommended for anyone looking for a competitively priced, high-quality, plug-and-play portable display—whether for field use, hobby projects, or everyday productivity.

I purchased a similar monitor from this manufacturer about half a decade ago. It still worked perfectly, but because of its portability, the case/stand was starting to show its age. So when I was looking for an upgrade, I had a good idea where to look first. I've been using this morning for a few weeks before coming to review it. So far it's worked very well. I use it as a secondary monitor for work, as a fourth monitor for development, and as a portable monitor for gaming. The screen quality is great. I appreciate the gloss screen for gaming. The blacks look great and the 120Hz refresh rate really enhances game play. The 120Hz refresh rate seemed to be finicky on an old Macbook Pro when used as a fourth monitor. Works fine as a second or third monitor, just has trouble as the fourth monitor. Also appears to work fine on a newer model Macbook Pro. It has VESA mounting, however I use it with a tablet style clamp so that it's more portable. I saw another review stating that the case is magnetic, however, mine came with two low-profile screws to secure it. The case seems like it's better quality than my previous one, too. The touchscreen is a nice added feature, but I don't see myself using that often. There seems to be an Apple limitation where the mouse cursor must be on the screen in order to utilize the touch screen component. That took me a minute to figure out, but doesn't seem like much of an inconvenience to me. The controls are very useful. I love that it has a click style wheel and a power/input button. Less physical controls on the monitor itself, but offering more customization. The biggest upgrade was the screen size. I've really enjoyed having a larger sized screen. Overall, I would highly recommend this monitor. It fills my niche needs and has been a great addition to my computer.

J’ai acheté ce moniteur portable EVICIV 18,5 pouces principalement pour travailler en double écran avec mon MacBook Pro M1, et je dois dire que je suis vraiment impressionné. La connexion est d’une simplicité remarquable : un seul câble USB-C suffit pour l’alimentation et l’affichage, même sur batterie de l’ordinateur, je peux l’utiliser en déplacement. Pas besoin de multiples adaptateurs ou d’alimentations externes, tout est plug-and-play, ce qui est très pratique quand on veut travailler rapidement. La compatibilité avec macOS est parfaite : aucune configuration compliquée, mon MacBook l’a reconnu immédiatement. L’écran en lui-même est d’une excellente qualité. La dalle Full HD est lumineuse, avec des couleurs qui me semble fidèles et les 120 Hz donnent un affichage fluide, que ce soit pour travailler sur des applications professionnelles, visionner des vidéos ou même jouer (à des petits jeux sur mac). Le design en alu est élégant et donne une impression de solidité. Il est fin, assez léger pour être transporté, mais en même temps robuste. La compatibilité VESA est aussi un atout si on veut l’installer sur un bras articulé ou un support fixe, mais je n’ai pas encore testé, je n’ai pas de support adapté. Mais les vis sont fournies ! Pour l’instant je n’utilise que le pied dépliant à l’arrière qui permet de régler l’inclinaison comme on souhaite, et qui se range sans surépaisseur. Un autre point qui m’a bluffé est l’emballage. L’écran arrive dans un carton robuste, très bien conçu, qui protège efficacement le produit. L’emballage indique même les logos environnementaux pour les options de tri sélectif pour le carton et les autres conditionnements des câbles. Tout est bien calé à l’intérieur et ça inspire confiance. Et le carton contient beaucoup d’accessoires : plusieurs câbles (2 USB-C/USB-C, 1 mini-HDMI/HDMI), un adaptateur secteur et même une housse de protection. On sent que le fabricant a pensé à tout pour que l’écran soit utilisable immédiatement, quel que soit l’appareil avec lequel on veut le connecter. Je l’ai commandé en vacances et j’ai pu l’utiliser directement. En résumé, je suis ravi de mon achat. Cet écran est un excellent complément pour un MacBook Pro M1 ou autre j’imagine. Qualité d’image, simplicité de connexion en USB-C, accessoires fournis et emballage soigné : tout est au rendez-vous. Je recommande sans hésitation !

I bought this display as an upgrade to an existing 1080p portable monitor I'd been using as a vertical (portrait) add-on to my work from home setup. I already knew that a 15.6" size was ideal for my setup (see the images - this is the portrait monitor on the right of my desk). I also wanted something I can mount on a VESA arm in the future. Of course, it can be used as a landscape display as well, and is just as portable as you'd expect - I expect to carry this with me when I get back to travelling again. The display came in a very nice sturdy box. Unboxing presented me with some film to protect the display, as well as a screen protector (blue-light filter). Underneath were the manual, 2x USB-C to USB-C cables, an HDMI cable, a UK USB power plug, and a tool for smoothing the film onto the screen. I've chosen not to apply that so far. All-in-all, a really comprehensive package - nothing bare-bones here. The screen itself is glossy but not too shiny. It comes with a magnetic case which doubles as a stand if you are using it as a portable item (this itself is better than the screen I'm replacing, since that one has a case that needs to be screwed on to the back - this is far more convenient). On the left side are buttons to bring up a menu and adjust various settings, as well as a power toggle, and a micro-USB connector. On the right are HDMI, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB-C display/power input port, and a USB-C Power Delivery port if you want to charge devices. Technically, the display identifies itself as model HS156KC with 3840 x 2160 resolution at 60Hz. In the settings, there are options for various display modes including a Game mode, HDR and DCR, with Freesync and Overdrive. I tried it with a USB-C to USB-C cable on my iPad Pro and it worked first time, mirroring the screen. I then set it up with my Windows Surface laptop, and again it works well, really nice sharp 4K display that I think I'll enjoy using (the builtin display on the 15" Surface is not 4K). Finally, for home working I have it setup with my 15" MacBook Pro 2019 model, rotated 90 degrees so that I can read documents and follow social feeds more easily. Very pleased.

Inward working on a 13“ laptop which was a pain. So I was looking at a mobile monitor for my business trips. So I decided on this one and I have to say, my first impression is great. Shipping was fast and the package arrived in top condition. I was sent a password which the delivery person wanted to have before handing over the box. The box alone gives an indication about the quality of the monitor. Nothing cheap. Sturdy, well organized and even padded on the inside to protect the screen. Box contained the monitor, two USB-C cables (one to connect your device and one for the also enclosed charger in case you need the external power source. This could be if you connect a phone. Also included a mini HDMI cable. Small but sufficient manual in English. Well written and clear. The monitor itself is very light and thin. Great to travel with. Has a built-in stand on the back which makes it easy to put the monitor up. It has the connection points on one side, a headphone jack on the other along with the power button and the menu button. People complain about the navigation in the menu, I don’t think it is bad at all. You have to get used to the small menu button, but what do you expect from such a thin monitor? There just isn’t the space to bigger and more buttons. Settings you make remain saved after power off. Monitor also has loudspeakers, again, do not expect top quality (remember the thickness of the device) but they are sufficient to watch a movie or listen to music. Of course you cannot supply a large room with music. But that is also not the purpose of this monitor. To me the brightness was a bit too dark, even on the highest setting, but I found out that in a different gaming mode (via menu) you get a much better brightness so you do not even need to go up to 100. Movies run smoothly and without problems. Power via USB-C (from my laptop) is sufficient to power the monitor, however edit other devices you might need the external power connection (included). You can also connect via HDMI and then you also need external power. So far I am very impressed of this monitor. I will have to see how it performs under real conditions. But for the price (there was a promotion with 50€ off) I am really satisfied so far.
