It is well made, seams stitched and finished well. The front placket is finished (sewn down), too, unlike many other Hawiian-styled shirts. Measurements were much larger than sizing chart, resulting in returning it for the next smaller size, which fits well.It is a bit darker than depicted, but looks good, and the pattern almost has a 3D look to it in certain lighting. It is a light, thin cotton, and it washes well, too.

This coronavirus pandemic has made us all more sedentary as we quarantine and hide inside, and some of us have found solace in consuming more food. AND, SO I've had to get bigger clothes that look better - for when I go toonly the grocery store. I've been buying and wearing Johari West shirts for the last ten years - from size XL to now 3XL. Oy. They look great in any size and on any body. The designs are really neat to look at but also not too bold but give you some personality in your clothing. IF you are wanting to not follow directions and want to wash and then machine dry these, buy a size larger, as you will shrink them in the drier. No matter what, I liked these so much that I bought seven new shirts and they look and feel great! No matter what, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these Johari West shirts! Add some color and style to your casual wardrobe as you sit in on boring Zoom calls!

UPDATE: I reordered a large and exactly as I suspected, it's perfect. It remedied every single dimensional problem in nearly the exact dimension I wanted. I ordered a total of 3 in different patterns (Sapphire Diamond, Andorra Skies, and this, the Ripple Rosso) and I'm not finished. I'll almost certainly order several more. Oh, and I did have to snip off a few Irish pennants on each of these. And I will reorder - the shirt is that nice.I like the color (blue) and the pattern. The craftsmanship is quite good - I don't see so much as a single 'Irish Pennant' (Navy guys know what that means). However, I just tried it on, a medium, and find it slightly small for my needs. The fit *looks* really good, it just doesn't *feel* right. There isn't quite enough shoulder room, the body is slightly too narrow (close fitting) and it's perhaps 1.5 to 2 inches too short. When I reach forward with both arms, the back tightens a bit. The length and body aren't quite sufficient to be confident that what I need to conceal will remain concealed; a hip carry short mag IWB Shield 9 prints slightly, too. The sleeve length is good, falling right at the elbow on the inside of my arm, though I'd rather it be an inch or so longer. As husky native islander, 6,1 and 270...it fit perfectly. The advertising re stitching , materials , pricing , etc...are all SPOT ON! When I purchased this, it was a test to see if product actually met its claims...IT DID! Comfortable too...people often complain that these shirt are a little stif...for a good reason...anybody who where’s a Hawaiian shirt in any island were humidy is present will appreciate this...because normal shirts can look like a soggy noodle after a few minutes in tropical weather...I bought a total of 10 johari shirts! Mahalo

These shirts are so nice I got two in different patterns for my husband. They wash well and don't shrink up.

I have long taken to Hawaiian-style shirts, and Johari West makes the best that I've found. They wear far longer than an ordinary print shirt and are extremely resistant to fading in the wash.Being batik-dyed rather than simply printed gives the Johari West shirts the edge, and Amazon always has some great deals.

This is one of several Johari West Tropical Hawaiian Cotton Batik Shirts that I have purchased and I have been very pleased with quality and fit over the past year. I am just over 6 foot tall and 200 lbs, and the large fits me well. It is a nice casual wear shirt that does not get too hot and is very comfortable.
