Easy to install if your junction box is installed vertically if not, I have a hack.
Easy to install if your junction box is installed vertically if not, I have a hack. So my box was installed horizontally. That posed a problem as the screws that hold the main part of the light to the junction box aligned up in exactly the same spot and the mounting plate. So I took the original screws that mounted to the original junction box (same screw size, but and inch longer) and took my sawsall and took off the screw head. That way I could use the long screw as the plate to junction box mount and also hold the light to the junction box. Iโm sure there is a real pro tip out there. But I wasnโt willing to pull out and try to mess with the whole junction box to get pass this issue. After that part install was a breeze.

Cheaply Made
Quality was lacking, product was cheaply made. Didn't like the brushed gold color.

Beautiful, but check your junction box
These look beautiful on my stairwells. I like that they have the potential to face down or up as it gave us options. We purchased the Edison bulbs recommended by Amazon and love it! They were very simple to put together and install. The one thing we had a problem with was due to our existing junction box. It did not line up with the new fixture so we had to MacGyver it and use our own silver screws. Which we will replace to black in time. Double check your junction box- it needs to be horizontal- otherwise worth it!

True matte black farmhouse lights
I ordered two two packs of these lights for a great price! We plan to use them on either side of our bathroom mirrors. They are a true matte black and have a great farmhouse style. The shades are super pretty with just enough detail to add some sparkle to the lights.
