Aveda Flax Seed Aloe Strong Hold Sculpturing Gel, 8.5-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)

I have VERY, VERY curly, kinky hair. I use the flaxseed oil after washing my hair and it produces beautiful curls. I do it in sections dividing these into small strands of hair that I coat with the oil and then wrap around my finger. It takes me a while but the look is worth it. I then gently blow it dry or in the summer I air dry. It last for several days and I just wet the ends a little each day. This is the BEST product for my type of hair!

My hair is all of the above. It's also thick, coarse, and long. I used to hate my hair; it took me 20 years to get used to it. But when I was growing up there were no gels or styling lotions. I had to leave in conditioner or, when I was in high school and found out this trick: leave in baby oil. But that got messy.I still need to use a lot of product--at least one gel and then Aveda's sculpturing Lotion. Don't use too much, though, or some areas may dry a little whitish. Since I cannot wash my hair every day, if I notice this happening in the morning, I simply wet a washcloth and spot stroke the area. It works great. I love this Aveda product and would be very upset if they stopped producing it. Do NOT use the similar version in spray form; it comes out sticky and gross and makes your hair unmanageable.
