Great watch for someone suffering with FTD
My father has Frontotemporal Degeneration and has started fidgeting with his old watch, constantly messing up the time, then getting confused as to what time it is. It has become a problem due to him arguing with us on what time it is and constantly confusing himself after compulsively adjusting the crown on his old watch.I am thankful to have come across this type of watch, which does not include an adjustment crown for him to fidget with. The quality reflects the price of the watch, which is satisfactory and more than enough for his needs. The important features of this watch is that you can adjust the time with a mobile app as opposed to the watch itself, essentially preventing him from messing up the time when he fidgets with it. While I know there is a way to manually change the time on the watch itself, thankfully it requires just enough extra steps to prevent him from figuring out how to do it himself (at least so far). The app is installed on my mothers phone, where she can control the time as well as set alarms for him, which is a useful feature. Please note that any time you wish to set slarms or set the time using the app, you must pair the app with the watch. This makes sense because if the watch and app were always connected, the watch battery would likely not last very long.Pairing the mobile app with the watch was simple enough, as I was able to walk my mom through it over the phone.I hope its durable enough to last the remaining years we have with him.

Multiple Alarms Set up
I really like this watch . I set all my daily alarms on the app which is very easy and straight forward. I don’t have to press the button multiple times to set an alarm to a specific time . I just do it on the app which saves so much time specially using it for multiple alarms at once.Another thing I love about this watch is that at night, I don’t have to grab my phone to look what time it is or turn around or get up, I just press the button on the watch and the audio watch tells me the time. Super convenient.

Excellent for elderly with vision issues
The only reason I'm not giving it a five-star review is because it is difficult to understand the date. When you press the button the first time you hear the time. When you press the button the second time you hear part of the date. And when you press the button the third time you hear the rest of the date. My 91 year old dad really likes the watch as he can press the button anytime he wants to hear the time. My recommendation is for them to adjust how the date comes across if it's going to be divided into two sections it needs to be more clear. I highly recommend this.

A Great Purchase For Visually Impaired
I recently purchased the Five Senses Smart Atomic Talking Watch With App and found it to be a good purchase for visually impaired people. It has several positive aspects. In the Eastern Time Zone of the United States, radio communications with the standard atomic clock station WWVB in For Collins Colorado is problematic. With other atomic watches, the synchronization is successful about 50% of the time. Particularly during bad weather or times of solar activity, synchronization is difficult. This is why the use of the smart aspect of this watch is essential. With the synchronization with the smart phones as a back up, you can almost always be sure that your watch is keeping the correct time.As far as the interface with the app on the smart phone, it works quite well with the VoiceOver screen reader that is part of the built in accessibility on the Apple iPhone. It took me less than fifteen minutes to figure the app out and how to synchronize it with the smart watch. All in all I rate this watch with five stars and recommend it to any visually impaired person seeking an easy to use and affordable talking time device.I keep getting requests to do reviews from the seller. so I have nothing to add other than I have had the watch for several months now and it still works great!

More work needed; Hearing Impaired Users Not Considered
I must say that this generation of the watch has definitely come up. It’s lighter and much easier to set using the connection to an iPhone, however there is no way to adjust the volume. My dad is not only blind, but he is also hard of hearing. He has to put this watch up to his ear to hear the time and the chimes and alarm bells are useless. He also has neuropathy, so the small button is challenging, but he’s managing so far. I recommend the next generation have the ability to (1) press the watch face to hear the time, (2) have a way to turn up the volume, and (3) have a way to change the voice from female to male. We have had so many issues with the RC Atomic versions losing time that we thought this would be better. The jury is still out. It may be going back.

Update after testing the beta and also the final version of the app.
I am visually impaired so I need the watch to talk and tell me the time. It has a nice face on it but not clear enough for me to be able to read the time without the voice. The setup is quite simple. I use an iPhone with the built in screen reader known as voice over. I downloaded the app the day before the watch arrived so it was ready to go.Final update after working with the company on fixing some issues with the app on the alarm screen and trying out a couple of their beta files I can say it is 100% usable with voice over on an iPhone. So a person with limited vision or none at all could setup this watch using their phone without any help at all. For me it seems to connect faster if I tap the lower button on the watch before I open the app, your results may vary.Take your time and it will work perfectly for you as well.

As described & convenient
Completely as described. The expandable band is comfortable, even on my extra-large wrists. Great while in dark bedroom without my eyeglasses on, just press the button and Wally, my grandchild named it, tells the time. App is very useful.
