Simple idea, bad design
OK, so I did not have high expectations when I ordered this gaget but still, it needs to do what it claims without mayor flaw.My first use revealed a flaw that can be dangerous if you are not careful.Problem is that there is nothing to stop it from shaving bottom of plastic slug when you run out of nuts.When I realised I was done I took the plunger out and there on top of shaved nuts was a piece of green plastic as big as a clipped thumb nail.So, in order to avoid that from happening again, I learned to stop pushing when slug is about 1/8 of an inch away from its bottom position.You get what you pay for, device is flimsy and very fragile, ring that holds it intact does not lock in position and whole device tends to fall apart as you try to hold bottom while spining top clockwise, wasted money.Its not worth the trip to drop off point to return it so closest and best place for it is garbage can.

Horrible Nut Slicer
I used this today while I was making banana nut bread. I put walnuts in it, which is a softer type nut. I was breaking a sweat by the time I had done about 1/3 cup walnuts. It also would not complete all the nuts. I had to take out the remaining pieces and break by hand. I even tried to break up the walnuts some before placing in this slicer and it did not help the work effort at all. The reason I gave it a2 star rating is that the slices it did make looked nice. I threw this device away.

Sturdy, Compact and Easy to use
It is really good. It is compact and sturdy. I was able to chop almonds and cashew nuts without any problem.

Basically functional but pretty cheap. You get what you pay for.
This chops my almonds, but it's slow and I have to hold it together while using it or it falls apart. Save your money and buy a real chopper.

Good product
I have tried several nut choppers, but this one truly stands out . It gets the job done efficiently. It's easy to clean. I definitely recommend this product 👌.
