You get what you pay for and then you have this awesome set worth it.

It was bought for my son who has recently taken up fishing. When received he couldn’t wait to show it off to his friends, and the result was ‘it’s a brilliant piece of kit’5* review from him and if he’s happy I’m happy 😃

First time my lad used the rods the reel broke constantly tried to get a replacement with no response, I personally would pay a little bit more for a better made product

So I received this and was mighty impressed for what you get at this price. I set it up in the garden and soon realised the stands and bobbins were a bit substandard. I risked it and got to the side of the bank only to see the stand screw thread break off. Luckily I managed to fix it but now realise its not up to the job. Same goes for the bobbins, i just bought some new ones from the tackle shop. The ones supplied were too tight and wont release the line on striking.But have to say the rods (oh the string broke off on the rod bag on first use) , reels and bite alarms all work great.Had a couple of 8lb carp on first outing with them. Just need to find myself some new rod rests.
