In my opinion it does really need two coats, you could almost get away with one, but having read reviews about how good this black was I was expecting a really good finish with just one. I also found it still seemed a little grey to my eyes even with the two coats but perhaps I'm being picky.It certainly needs a good quality undercoat and topcoat as I found it chipped within hours when left unprotected (thought I am a little rough on my nails truth be told)Interestingly, the China Glaze polishes I've recently bought have a lot less odor than other varnishes in my collection so much so that when I'd finished painting my nails, rather than asking me to open a window, my keen nosed other-half remarked that there was so little smell he didn't even know I'd opened the bottles.I think I'll be adding more of these to my collection!

China Glaze Fairy Dust is an amazing scattered holographic topper that is perfect for any nail art! I am going through so many bottles of this because of how much I love it! It is in a clear base so there is no need to worry about any blocking of the base colour or of nail art. I really like putting it over my nail art and really recommend!

the paint brush is for french tips, it works well for that purpose overall but as an overall nail polish is is not ok.

This brand is my go-to for black nail polish as it is the most opaque I have found at a reasonable price. Works great for stamping also.

China Glaze describe this shade a neon fuchsia, it's supposed to be a very bright pink. What I received is nothing like that. I received a dark dull rose colour that is not bright or vibrant in any way. I'm not sure what's been put in this bottle but it definitely isn't the colour it's supposed to be so I suspect it isn't a genuine product. Extremely disappointed.

I was delighted to find a bottle of this on Amazon. My last one got used up until there was only a dried up bit left in the bottle and China Glaze no longer sell it.This is the brightest neon orange, it makes your fingertips sing. Perfect for summer and Halloween, (stamped over with black cats, bats and spiderwebs) or any time when you really want your fingernails to be noticed.Beware though, without a base coat it will stain your nails a vile nicotine orange that will take six months to grow out. So use a good base coat and allow it to dry properly before applying orange knockout. It's matte so if you like shiny nails you'll also need a glossy top coat.

This product will not disappoint! Goes on easily and wears well! True to color! I had used this brand and shade in the past so I was excited to find it on Amazon! If you like a bold, true red color you will definitely like this nail polish!

I got the color flip flop fantasy it is super pretty neon peach but it doesn't last at all maybe 2 day with topcoat very uneven coverage

Great consistency, goes on smoothly, drys to a matte finish which I didn't expect but...a clear topcoat fixes that. Long lasting beautiful color.

I was looking for a teal or turquoise nail polish and came across this color. I love how it looks, the polish doesn't take more than 2 coats for me to look great. Came sealed and fresh, packed safely. Happy with it.

Lime green with a little shimmer. Perfect for what I needed. Love this brand.
